Default Soo, can't get a script running [OSRS]

Alright, I used to bot many years ago here, but now I cant get even script running.

I've installed simba, updated everything, downloaded aerolib, smarts such and all needed stuff.

But when I press run script (start), it just says compiled succesfully / you have the latest version / succesfully executed and then nothing happens and I am able to press start again, am I missing something? ( Trying hoodfighter )

Reinstall everything and try again. Follow it all step by step. If you still get an error come back. Sounds like you're missing extensions.

Extension? Sounds unfamiliar to me, I used this guide https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107436 and also installed aerolib and such by other guide

Looks like the .simba file on the Hoodzfighter page is an auto-update script. So it will check to see if you have the latest script. First time you press play it will download the latest script and put it into your Windows download folder (whatever you have set it to). So check your downloads folder for a .simba file and open it, that will be the full script file. Let me know if you're confused I was in your position before lol.

What are you talking about... He got it compiling, and he states he "downloaded smart", hoodzFighter doesnt even use SMART.
He has just probably ignored the instructions.

To your latter comment, HoodzFighter uses aeroLib, you shouldn't follow a guide on srl-osr.
Just read the instructions thoroughly. Are you sure you have the crosshairs dragged onto your OSBuddy when starting the script?

I followed the srl-osr guide first. Everything set from there. Then I went aerolib guide and did all that with aerolib. I did everything carelyfully step by step, and now I re-did it. Yeah I had the osbuddy dragged and set for a window.

I tested this myself and I also got "you have the latest version" when I only had the original script from the file page, so he must go and open the script that it auto downloaded if he hasn't done that already. Given his post count, this might be a newbie mistake. I don't like being bullied or for being social, so please quit the spam comments. I forgive you for now, but some understanding regarding my passion for the community and my own learning processes will be greatly appreciated.

If thats how it is, I have no idea where it downloads the .simba file, not in my downloads folder the folder where I get stuff downloaded from internet. I havent changed anything all is set default.

Did you open the script that the first script downloaded to your download folder? Remember the script on that page you download is the auto downloader of the latest script.

I downloaded the hoodzfighter and then ran it from downloads folder and pressed start from script. And I also ran in trough simba "Open new script". But where does it download that actual script then?

Yeah it is the downloader I am currently trying to run, but where does it download the actual script then?

I was referencing you calling me out for spam. I have never abused anyone on this forum, and taken it up with admin if I believe there is something wrong, which is probably what you should do if you think I am a spammer in your eyes. I see it as being passionate about the community that I love.

Check your windows download folder (where you download files to from the Internet). Or else do a search in your computer for any .simba files

I did check, nothing in there, and checked also by using search for simba files, all I find is the simba and the hoodfighter autodownloader file :O

Alright, I followed joopii's link, and did it manually by saving it as a script that works.

Alright, well I stepped onto this error now:
    [AL] Initiating AeroLib...
    [AL] Checking version...
    [AL] Error while checking version
Error: "0.22" is an invalid float at line 187
    Execution failed.

Either of you can give quick hand? I've done everything exactly as in the Aerolib Guide says, even twice.

Pastebin changed there links so all scripts which use pastebin to update need to be fixed.

Which file are you getting this error in? Have you switched Simba's interpreter over to Lape?

    Current projects:
[ AeroGuardians (GotR minigame), Motherlode Miner, Blast furnace ]

Yeah its on lape. What you mean file? I am using hoodzfighter script (atleast trying to use it) and it requires the aerolib I have installed correctly.

This sometimes happens, I was able to reproduce back in the day but not anymore, it usually works by just restarting simba.
