kate-nicks it is one of the kate - nee - icks. there was a thread along time ago on kaits forums. Cant remember what it was but i think it is the later.

I remember everyone laughed when I said I pronounce it Ku - net - icks back at Kaitnieks. I'm not sure why I just make up my own pronunciation for it though..

Kate-nieks rolls off your tounge better, and sounds more normal, but the real pronunciation is kyte-nee-eks, as stated before.
