    Default Dtm

What is the best way to make DTMs for logs? I'm having a lot of trouble making a good log DTM. They will work for a while and then I'll take a break and log back in and then they won't work So if any one has some tips on making a good DTM for logs please lemmie know. Thanks

    Try reading my DTM tutorial.
    http://www.srl-forums.com/forum/show...ghlight=yohojo

Post any further question you have there.
I made a log DTM as an example on that thread.
You may use it if you credit me.
    But try making your own.

I have made many DTM's and I have read your tut and others...

Better question : Should I make DTM for inventory and a DTM for the bank?

Also if anyone has a link to Bitmap mask making that would be great..

If it isn't working when you come back, it probably means the colors have changed, and your tolerance is too low to find them. You can check if this is the case by:

    saving your old DTM
Opening a new DTM editor screen (that is showing the log)
Then clicking test DTM, and choosing the DTM you had saved.

If it isn't finding it on the new screen the reason is most likely due to the color tol.

make a dtm of the black outline of the logs. if you use other colors it will not work everytime.

I dono what it is then.. Maybe its because I made the DTM from a log in the inventory and then im trying to find it in the bank..?
Heres the DTM if any one wants to test....
    SCAR Code:
    OakLog := DTMFromString('78DA633CC5C4C0B09591011974E7383218016' +
           '990E87F2060BC0C54B316550D44164602E92B40353B08A8390954' +

For inv items just use max tolerance, (255?).

Unless you have items with the same outline, i.e mith axe, addy, rune, then you'll have to adjust tolerance a bit.
