What changes required the SMART update? My old 2.03 programs work fine with none of the updates so far: 5 lvl 80 miners/smelters with no bans. "not a leecher, just let my teenage boys and their friends use the bots, don't know you guys well enough yet."
Most of the changes can be fixed by anyone with even a simple understanding of SCAR and SRL. Only the leechiest of leechers can't figure them out.Why is it when there is any question concerning SRL the assumption is that you have to be either a genius and not ask, or a leecher when you point something out. Isn't this a community of sharing knowledge? Seems to be a bunch of hypercritical individuals stuck on themselves pointing fingers at anyone who asks questions (but praise each other for asking just as stupid questions, or posting a script that is a copy of all the other scripts out there) or is concerned about program changes.
SMART is completely optional, and if people want to update their scripts to work with it, that's their choice. But I don't think it's very wise for a leecher(there you go with that leecher b.s. again) to complain that a script hasn't been updated. There you go, I must be a leacher because I have pointed out that a script no longer works. If you actually read my post you would have noticed that the script works with the changes I made. I DON'T THINK IT'S VERY WISE FOR A DEVELOPER TO MAKE CHANGES WITHOUT BEING COMPATABLE WITH THE VERSION IT IS UPDATING. Could you imagine a Windows Vista update that renders all the add-ons useless?
And you can always revert to any version of SCAR. They're all up there on Freddy's site. And you can revert to any version of SRL. They're all there in the revisions. If you don't like the updates, don't use them. This mentality is why when a script is posted you have to add the instructions that it only works with version X.XX .
