kk, its not that hard to make these using the select region by color tool in gimp
just crop each thing, select 65565, invert selection, then fill it black
i started to make a findbestarmor function, but i decided it wouldnt be that useful

i think what you need now is a color and tolerance that will be able to tell the difference between bronze,iron,steel,mith,etc
