    this is a great compiler but if you can afford it microsofts compiler is quite amazing
    just got a copy woohoo

    MSVC++...

    It doesn't allow anything cross-platform (ex: linux / mac)

    ( unless you use wine.. or something, though it may not run too good )

    what is cc++ ? can it be used for rs macroing? if yes i will learn

    Sure it can, but it would probably be better to learn java for rs cheating.

    For those who preffer Microsoft Visual C++, you can get the Express edition for free:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/visualc/

    (You might also need to download and install the Platform SDK, not sure, I use the enterprise version of MSVS myself)
