Something really queer just happened and it scared the hell out of me. As I opened my browser and clicked on the bookmark to this site, a page is displayed saying that "you've been banned" "date the ban will be lifted: never". That scared me. Then I refreshed the page again and it was normal. What is happening? Is the server overheating or something? Bugs?

Also got this error when posting. I had to come back and edit this post.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ']' in /mnt/w0707/d29/s33/b0285a88/www/villu-reborn.com/showthread.php(2010) : eval()'d code on line 434

Thank you for posting your errors, i am in the process of finding and fixing all the errors that i can. Unfort VB is a massive chunk of files and tryin to find them is near impossible. That was why the site was down for 4 hours last night due to updating to the newest vb version....

Same error here. I was scared like hell when I saw that at first. I'm like "this can't be right??? Someone at SRL going whacko banning people at will???", then reloaded the page and everything was allright .

    It's been a while... but I'm BACK!!!

PHPBB has more support, is updated more often, has less bugs and is opensource.

Yah i've had errors too...i was on vacation for a while so i wasnt on the forums for a few months and i forgot my password. So i did the recovery thing but it never went through and it wouldn't let me stay logged in...everytime i tried to acess something i had to log in. So i tried to acess the member forums and then it told me to log in...so i did and it brought me to main screen and it was a never ending circle

Actually no VB has execellent support, namely since i just paid for the license so therefore I have full customer support with it, There is less updates but god knows i wouldnt want to update more then i already do. If i would stop changing things in a live board we would get less errors, but I cant do that it goes against my approach to life. 99% of my knowledge of PHP and Mysql comes from changing this vbulletin code and fixing the errors i created in the process but once i get them all ironed out this time ill probably stop messing with it as i have other websites to screw up atm also

When posting errors please state the following

    • Link to Error ( Just copypaste your URL )
    • Browser Name/Version ( I never get errors using Firefox )

Sorry but just giving me the errors name does me no good since i cant duplicate it i have nowhere to start searching for the problem.

I get plenty of errors with Fx but a refresh USUALLY helps.

What is wrong with the attachments? Is it a permission setting or what because it won't let me delete my own attachments.

Hmm it lets me do so on my test account now. Um what do you mean by delete, like just remove the attachment from the post or delete the thread? Also when did u try last? i know i had a bug where u couldnt edit/remove them but i fixed it Monday i belive dam vbulletin had changed there permission system so i had to update one of the mods to work.

Sometimes, half the thread loads, so it doesn't load all the way down to the Quick Reply (I checked if it stopped loading and it did) BTW I am on FireFox.

I've only had that kind of error and a PSP. But sometime when in jump between threads it logs me out, when using FireFox. I only use firefox cuz i screwed up my Internet Explorer.
