    My school filter blocks the word proxy and after about a day of use become wise to any hidden proxy sites that students are using so this wont be of much use to me. And also all the proxy sites i use cant run java or flash so theres pretty much no chance for me.

    Use an IP-Port proxy (I think they are SOCKS, forget).

    http://www.bet3.cn/proxy2/ has a good list.

    This is so old.
    Any school that doesn't have the ability to block proxy servers is asking for huge trouble.

    My router provider even tracks the traffic for me, and updates the ratings of all websites visited.

    ie. a proxy that works today, won't tomorrow.

    At my school if you are on a site with the word proxy on the page or in the URL it pings the district then they call your teacher and bust you. I've seen it happen many times.
    If I see you autoing with level 3/default clothes/crap name I WILL report you. Auto Correctly!- Put this in your sig.

    In our school you were able to just change the HTTP _word I don't know in English, to cache2 from 3, and you could go anywhere. But then our IT teacher did some crap to it so we can't go to YouTube anymore, but our whole class plays Free Rider 2 when there's a chance

    Nope didnt work for me. My school (Ex school) was so horned in on what we did that as soon as they saw anything fishy looking they would shut down the computer. they had 2 full time teachers watching over all 108 school computers watching their every move.

    For those of you looking to use your own webserver, try looking into 'Zelune'.

    I've found that Firefox Portable on a flash works quite well, but setting up your own proxy would really be the way to go.

    I found a few ways back when i was in highschool.

    CMD ping the website, use the sites IP.

    SSH

    Get your schools proxy server password and access the internet through that

    Run firefox through a flash drive

    Put a hardware side keylogger on your teachers computer and get their login/pass(Fun one - coincidentally the teachers pws were part of their SS#)

    Side note - if they start blocking things like regedit remember that you can always do VBS in Word to bypass their blocks.

    If they start blocking things like regedit

    You can usually install anything you want in program files under updating programs such as Adobe acrobat. so games etc. Yay for soldat matches in science.

    If you get caught blame it on teacher incompetence.

    And if they piss you off enough with blocking your bypasses DNS poisoning is the way to go.

    Personally I find that setting up your own personal proxy is on of the greatest... I have also found that using the school's internet to route out to a separate server is truly the best option. This for me has been the best... and most reliable way to go...
    On vacation in NeverLand,
    Code:
    typedef int bool;
    enum { false, true };

    At my school there are filters that detect words such as 'proxy' and 'hack' as soon as you type them in. Then your screen freezes and everything on the computer is disabled. And if you shut it down, the teacher is alerted that the computer has disconnected from the monitoring program they use. Then you have to get the teacher to unlock the computer using the 'bad boy password'. Then they rape you and inform your parents.

    It's a good thing I got into a teachers email and found out the password. ^_^.

    And you can get music by typing in 'intitle:?index.of? band name' into google, this comes up with directories with files in them, usually MP3's. You can then save them or open them in a media player. It also works for movies, if you can find them on a site that isn't blocked.

    I'd be suprised if you read all that.

    Goodnight.
