    Default Proxy and UID

Ok, what exactly is a proxy and how do I get one? and my uid says only 3 characters, is that normal?
I only really want to delete UID.dat because I accidentally autoed signed (killing goblins with Fawkis killer).

Proxy is something you connect to to hide your ip.
You can only use socks5 proxy for java. Here are some life proxies: http://www.atomintersoft.com/product...y/socks5-list/
To socksify IE go to Tools -> Internet options -> Connections -> Lan settings.

Although i prefer using tor, it might be a bit slow but you'll never have to worry about working socks.

It lets you connect to a pool of proxies and redirects you through multiple proxy servers. Its same as proxy chaining: proxy -> proxy -> proxy -> destination. Which is why its very slow.

Fact of the matter is, proxing and autoing just doesnt work unless you have a dedicated proxy. So...... I am done with proxys.

As I posted in the other thread about UID's, even if you delete your UID it is still loaded into memory, you have to delete UID, load runescape, auto the guy, then go back to world switch, delete UID, load runescape. This is because, when you load up runescape it gets loaded into your memory (Ram). So you can't delete it (unless you have a memory editor or such).

UID is a place where Jafgex stores files about your players, but I think its only if you play signed, hence the reason why most people play unsigned.

UID is a random number that is generated once, that identifies your computer to Jagex. It's sent every time you login to runescape, regardless of world or character.
