    Default After I formatted my flash drive, total space is only 40 kb!

    Yeah, so after I got rid of the annoying U3 thing on my flash drive, when I right clicked > properties, the total space shows up as only 40.3kb. Now I can't put anything into it. How do I fix this? None of the programs that claim to restore original factory-made capacity thingies work. Quick reply would be good.

    You have to remove the partition. If you have vista its easy, just go into disk management. However if you are using a older windows then you will probably have to download a program to remove the partition... I do not know the exact details though with XP and older, so best be googling it if you do not have vista.

    Maybe it's got to do with if it's either NTFS or Fat32

    XP: Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management -> Find Flash Disk partition -> Delete Partition -> Create new partition.
