Default Multiple Mouse On One Comp

I was searching around google for this.. To help those with one comps like me .. Read around, and seems like it's not possible.. here's the link to this site..

    http://www.michaelbuffington.com/art...-mouse-cursors

    Post what u think guyz..

Umm..check this site out also.. It actuallly says its possible but with other exceptions http://cpnmouse.sourceforge.net/
I just like this idea because you could have one scar autoin using one mouse.. other u playing or other scar using other mouse..
If I see you autoing with level 3/default clothes/crap name I WILL report you. Auto Correctly. - put this in your sig (I did, so should u )

    A 'virtual machine'.

It runs another 'computer' within a window. This other computer has its own operating system, programs, mouse, etc.

There is a topic in the tutorial section on setting it up.

You can minimize the VM window and it will keep running just fine. So you can surf on your regular computer window, or you can auto on RS on both the VM and regular computer at the same time. Pretty cool, but it does take a decent computer to have it run right.

    ^lol ^..

Abt vm...HMMMMMMMMM never thought abt that.. I tried to download that thing on the tutorial but it doesn't finish.. Anyway what do u guyz think will i be able to run it decently , here are the stats for my comp (i really need to auto while scripting/doing homework.. got only one comp)..

    Intel P4
Main Board Model : P4Dual-915 GL
    512 MB ram
Graphic Card with 256 mb of its own ram
    3.00 GHZ speed
    And 200 GB hard drive.
Any ideas plz.. I wana download it again but just want an idea before trying to download that software once more for 1 hour..

Your computer should be plenty fast to run a VM.

The only minor concern is the RAM. When you set up a VM, you usually set aside a chunk of RAM specifically of the VM. So, if you set aside 256 Mb, you will have only 256 Mb left for your real computer.

It will probably still work, but that is the only potential problem I see. I say try it out.

Well I can't fix their server link but i'm assuming your downloading from their site... I did write that tute a while back.

Another option (which requires a seond monitor, keyboard and mouse but is less processor intensive)... is a piece of software called BeTwin.

As for your spec.s 512MB is not enough, the virtualisation actually takes more memory than the alloted memory allowance, so your RAM will be the weakest link for sure. your processor is ok. Graphics card does nothing, so unfort your card won't help. X800/ 6600?

You can try a Win98 VM, but XP is better optimised anyway, so you will probably find them similar in terms of resource use.

Back to the initial idea, would it work for me, as I have dual screen to setup a second mouse that I can use on that screen?

Do you mean BeTwin? Sure it will work, if you have secondary screen, mouse and keyboard.

Win2000 is almost the same as xp...

I'm using xp installed on one partition that gets formatted every 30 days, and everything else on other partitions.

I tried the VM but it used way to many resources. What I did was restored my old P3 555Mhz computer and installed Windows XP. I spent 39.99 on a switch that allows me to use 1 screen and 1 keyboard and mouse with 2 computers, I just hit a button and it switches instantly. Pretty nice for autoing on rs since it is a different IP and I can use my good comp for school and such.
I don't know if this is a possibility for many of you. It's just what I'm doing and it works great!

Get a download manager. Then, it won't stop in the middle of the download... Try download.com

    As for a VM

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dow...c/default.mspx

That looks like what you'd want..
