    Default Bot? Or Farmers?

There has been a lot of suspicion about this "Chinese /Mandarin Bot" and a few programs fround, but a lot of them seem to be "fake".
I believe that the only way so many level 3s, with default clothes, doing the SAME thing over and over can get their skill levels into the 50+ and some even 80s is though playing legit.

I think that, yes these guys are Chinese, but they are legit players, in fact, Chinese Gold Farmers.

This is just crazy Yohojo hypothesizing, but I think its plausible.

I have thought this for quite some time. I think its a bit of both, the guy who has a featherbuyer in every world is botting(''selling 1.2million feathers 8ea'') but the lobbie fishers etc I think could be people playing it, or bots that have people fixing them 24/7(eg. solving randoms etc.) but if you look at the pathing its slow and bad, I think it could also be a multi window bot that clicks the mm in the same place everytime, makes the map north and clicks again, same waits and has a person solving randoms. Make this a poll, bots, farmers, both/dont know.

    Edit: 144 ScapeRunes lol?

What about the fact they all walk the same paths? And seem not to be smart enough in some cases to solve a simple random? My opinion is that they are bots.

It may be a bit a both, but I think at least some are bots. As said by therealjdb and WT-Fakawi, the pathing on some is the same. Also, if they are human, they should be smarter about blending in, ie non level 3. I really think the lvl 3s are something that intercepts packets or something else detectable, so they aren't wasting time fighting because they will be banned soon. Short lifespan also explains how the names are the same with a different number.

They don't care about "Blending" or combat level.
They are gold farmings. They play to make money, and fast.
No time to make a custom look on tut island, no time to get combat up.
    They just skill and skill.
If there was a bot, then they would probably get banned a lot sooner that level 60+in a skill if they run so many.

Maybe it is 1/2 and 1/2.
    But you don't understand.
These guys are PRO gamers , and gold farming is their JOB to make REAL MONEY to SUPPORT their lives.

If I was a human gold farmer, I would think that putting a little effort in to not get banned/reported would allow me to last longer, meaning less time making and training up new accounts, and meaning higher levels and easier money making. Either bots or stupid inefficient humans.

Higher level (skills and combat) make money easier and faster, every legit fansite will tell you that. The only reason for low levels is short lifespan due to macro detection system.

Also, wouldn't merchanting make money faster for human gold farmers?

I highly doubt theyre people... As they are acting like they would want to be banned (not even putting any effort trying to remain unbanned)... Its like they would be asking to be banned, what doesnt make sence.. So most likely they have some 1337 private program theyre using that works VERY nice (soooo much of those people all around).

Everytime I think about chinese gold farmers, heres the things that says no it can't be :

    1) They all are similar in a way of walking.. Always stand in same place, also go to the yews besides lumbridge.. between lumbridge and draynor, you'll notice that they stay still when tree is chopped up, and start running as soon as other tree arrives.. They can't see the other tree, but somehow they know it has showed up.. Maybe java bot?

2)[MAIN POINT]Why pay for all those computers, and pay all those workers.. Why not just pay a professional programmer to make a bot, it's a one time payment unlike paying workers over and over again... [MAIN POINT]

3)There's like HUNDREDS of them... I mean go to draynor and watch all of them just walking in and out of bank.. I don't think there's gonna be someone paying for THAT many comps, and not just getting a programmer... Kinda like last point..

Although, the guyz at green dragons *might* be farmers, but I highly doubt
If I see you autoing with level 3/default clothes/crap name I WILL report you. Auto Correctly. - put this in your sig (I did, so should u )

They could all just used unsigned clients, and play a bunch of chars at a time.
Don't ask me why they don't hire a programmer, read the wiki, thats just how they do it.
Making a java bot isnt as easy as just hiring someone.
And Asians (stero-type) are damn good at games.

Always stand in same place, also go to the yews besides lumbridge.. between lumbridge and draynor
Arent many places to stand around a tree..

Let me show you the power of an asian though this video:

    Heres why.
They get payed like 0.5$ per mil they make and he sells for 5-10$ ea mill. Now you would pay an experienced programmer 100$ to make you bot which will work only till next update. They're basically exploiting the situation in the china. Everyone needs job to support their family...

Regarding how many of them there are.. well which country has most people? Yes. You got it right

Wow this article will explain everything to you then
    http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3141815

Please read, but for you lazy basterds:
He's paid about 56 cents an hour to work in a videogame "sweatshop."
"I work from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the U.S. Lineage II server," he says. He works long, boring hours for low pay and gets no holidays. Carefully constructed macros do most of the work; Sack is just there to fend off the occasional player itching for a fight or game master who's hunting for these automated farming programs. "Everyone knows where the good places are, and GMs know that your account has been online for a whole month," he says. "[A GM will] message me asking, .Hello, what level are you, please?' I know he isn't asking my level; he just wants to know if [there's actually a person at the computer]."
Says they use macros, but watch them in case a mod or whatever talk to see whats going on.

How does it work? The macros for World of WarCraft, for example, control a high-level hunter and cleric. The hunter kills while the cleric automatically heals. Once they are fully loaded with gold and items, the "farmer" who's monitoring their progress manually controls them out of the dungeon to go sell their goods. These automated agents are then returned to the dungeons to do their thing again. Sack's typical 12-hour sessions can earn his employers as much as $60,000 per month while he walks away with a measly $150.

Lowly paid job is better than no job at all. I'm sure that with 150$ you can get alot of things in china.

I think the gold farmers in rs are RSMembers that people people think are bots, such as the Green Dragon Autoer, Nat Crafter, etc ( hence 120+ characters that don't know english training on dragons all day [with no slayer points]) And you'd think, it has to be a bot, I've seen videos of ppl pking their whips. It's really easy to misclick when your bored of clicking a dragon for 12 hrs..12 hrs of dragon killing gets around 3-4M+ depending on stats . After every update you well notice almost no bots are cutting yews in f2p, but within 6 hrs they are back at the yews. I think these bots last about 4-7 days, then they are banned, and add on to their 000 + 1. I also notice about 10 characters in the Lumby Castle 2nd floor, south behind the rooms. I sometimes see the yew bots go and trade them. You might think they don't even get any yews with those damn bronze ax's, but lookup the highscores, and you'll see they have 70+ wcing!

i doubt that. i think it's chinese bots running vm's and keeping them all running 24-7.
and how do they "pro gamers" i can't belive that. the best money is abbyss rc and magics logs (besides pk and staking, and merchanting, as they are chinese..)so why aren't they there? and they would bother with a costume look to not get banned, if their "Sooo" effient and a chines person might beable just make it by by playing rs (like most chinese people, only making it by )

    well that's my epinion,
and other games are more profitable, and it's posible to be a "pro gammer".. i was one in vanguard =p i could make a platinium coin in 2 hours(was worth like 10$ each)
but they screwed that game up didn't you sony games..

Either that or lots of rsdemons =p
