    Post The_Scripts Snake

    I had to go to my girlfriends today for supper.
    Which would be alright except for two thing...
    1) Her and her mom sit and talk for hours.
    2) There is no internet

    So, whilst I was internetless and bored out of my mind.
    I decided to make a little snake game in SCAR.

    Hopefully a few of you find some entertainment in my little creation.

    The different color uhh... "apples" have different effects when eaten.
    Yellow: Length + 1; Common; 25 points
    Green: No Change; Pretty Common; 50 points
    Blue: Length - 1; Uncommon; 75 points
    Red: Length + 2; Rare; 100 points

    Feel free to comment!

    Omg dude, that's incredible!
    Only bug I found was that whenever you eat an apple/dot/whateveritis, a black circle flashes on the top-left corner of the screen.

    Now go write a RS script that's as kewl as your game!

    Everytime the length of the snake is increased the new "body part" get put at (0, 0) which is the top left of the screen. I might try to fix that, the only reason I have left it the way it is, is because it didnt bother me to much.

    As far as RS scripts go, I am working on a fletcher currently. Need to add some fail safes. It has gotten me 96 fletching so far. It is a bummer that someone made a new one before me though...

    I'm glad you liked it. I added different color "apples" with different effects, to try and keep people interested. But I guess snake can only be fun for so long. lol

    Very nice game, The_Scripts!

    Just make it work without WizzyPlugin, and it will have a fairly GOOD chance for being added to SCAR's Scripts folder.

    Sometimes it doesnt stop exactly when you hit the bottom. But it still resets after a couple of seconds so its all good.

    I shall work on the games flaws and dependencies.
    Im guessing it will take about two weeks for me to be completely finished.
    I have been pretty busy lately.

    More and more stuff from Wizzyplugin is being placed into SCAR though, so I guess that soon won't be necessary.

    You could maybe set AppleImage.Visible := False; then set it to (0, 0), then move it to the right place and AppleImage.Visible := True ?

    This is freaking awesome. I think its the neatest non-rs SCAR script ive seen since the 3D square thingy. Really good job making this!

    Its not his plugin. We all work on it.

    Holy smokes, the amount of comments is growing rapidly

    I moved the WizzyPlugin from the plugins folder, and the game still ran.
    I believe all of the TPA function I use are included with SCAR now.

    I now need to rewrite the game to my own standards. The code is a bit slopy at the moment.

    I am going to try to make it so it goes to the right spot immediately. I will use that as a backup if im unsuccessful.

    Although I probably did code the first few functions in it, I definitely didn't code all. (Niels and Ray coded heaps too.)
    IMO all the credits should go to the SRL Community.

    Perhaps a name change is in order, haha.

    Tried the script - very nice.
    It seems that when you lose it restarts automatically which got me a bit confused since I saw the snake still moving until I noticed it had less pieces.

    Anyhow, great job!
