    Default add parentheses to make the statement true

    3 * 4^2 - 2^3 + 3^2 = 23

    where would i add parentheses/any other grouping symbols to make the left side of the equation equal to 23?

    figured it out...
    (3 * 4)^2 - (2^3 + 3)^2 = 23
