Network Problem -

A family member of mine recently got a new computer with Windows 7 on it and all that good stuff. Ever since he connected the computer to the internet, we have been having connection problems constantly. We had to unplug the internet connection completely when we were setting up his new computer. It has three monitors to go with it due to Eyefinity or whatever, so we had to rearrange a little.

Whenever another user of the network connects to the network / uses the network after being, I believe, idle for a while, the other users on the connection are "Knocked" off of the connection or given slow connection speeds that fades in and out, in a way. Thus making this connection unreliable.

Now normally I would rule this down to my own wireless on my computer acting up due to it being naturally fail. But it even knocks my iPod and my PS3 off of the network. The same with my laptops.

A little information:
This has never been a problem before until this new computer was connected. The old computer he was using is not connected at all and is awaiting new parts to be upgraded in to a better computer.
All of the connections on this network was wireless. In total there are 7 connections on the network. But not all of them are active all the time. Like one of my laptops is never on due to it being broken and I never "Actively" use my PS3's internet connection except for going in to the PSN store.

What could be the problem with this? Is it a setting on the new computer that I need to change? Or is the router finally saying "No." to us?

It has become a complete nuisance and I hate seeing the "No network" popup on my iPod now.

You could just try uses internet on Laptop, and then make your Laptop to wireless hotspot : )

hmm, it could be an IP issue, try making the IP on the new computer static, and see if that helps, if you don't know how to do that, post what router you are using, and I will try and dig something up for u
