GOOD TUTORIAL. People should use this, especially for reflection to stay up to date.

Might try to pump out a few more tutorials in the next couple of days. I have a 18+ hour Transit time to get home to my wife and kid.

Sounds like a good way to kill time. And an update to How To Auto would be nice.

How to auto is the whole section and that's what I've been doing for like 3-4 days now.

Nope, and nope. You can update simba without svn.

The only thing you need is the simba installer which installs simba with everything you need.

You should add the URLs for reflection and SRL and explain how to get them using SVN.

Yeah, once MSI switches, everything will be on git. May not be a bad idea to change the guide for TortoiseGit (or write a new one).

There is no need for a tutorial because users do not have to download SVN or Git anymore as they can now use the Simba updater extensions.

Yeah, but could be useful for contributers, but I guess if you're looking to contribute, I suppose you'd already know how to install it/already have it installed.

What I mean by users is end users. I guess you can make it for contributors just in case? I mean, I don't really know how to use Git either as I've always used SVN and I might have stuff to contribute (hypothetical, I don't do anything RS-related ).

It was pretty simple with tortoiseGit. I basically learned everything I needed to know in the last couple hours.

Wow, I didn't know they had a TortoiseGit. I would assume that is something like a port of some sorts of TortoiseSVN? If so, then yeah it'd be easy to learn. I didn't need a tutorial when I first started using SVN. Anyways, it doesn't matter what you do, just sayin', isn't needed.

I like to have my scripts on SVN, so I can edit from anywhere. Got on a 16 GB stick makes it easy to update stuff.

Git essentially does the same thing as SVN, you can just do a lot more.

E: BraK, I suggest adding a few basic SVN commands like Checkout and Update as well. I also suggest adding the same thing for git (with Clone and Pull commands) as basically everything has switched to git.

I can honestly say I'm a Git Noob I just set up my first repositories on Github last night and it took me forever. Timer had made a Git tut before for this section. I'm probably have to con someone else into making on for me again. When I made this I think I had plans to make a Setup tutorial for all the folders that went with it.

I totally could have used that last night. why not just move that from simba general news into the Tutorial section? I figured this would give it a better home
