Well if i remember correctly, TriLeZ is working on a OGL bot.
This is the site to see how the development is:
    http://tribot.org/
    07Scripter
    I mostly write private scripts

Im not interested in other OpenGL bots, its the OpenGL framework that was getting developed here that im interested it. I have no intention of paying for something from some crappy site that is probably a virus and could end up in a lawsuit.

Any admins or people who were developing for simba respond?

TRiLeZ is an SRL Dev, and he is making an OGL client. He wouldn't do anything wrong in the code, I promise you.

I was lurking moparisthebest, and they had a thread going on there about OGL development. However, it's been a while since anybody posted any progress. I bet you Aftermath has his own little private bot working now, however.

Idk how we are supposed to sign up to the forum when the math question he gives us isn't even a question?

Cos((11(Pi))/6) = sqrt(x)/(y/24). Express your answer in the form of "x,y", without quotations.
That doesn't even make any sense.

First I was like maybe he wants us to give an x* and y* such that they satisfy the equation: That didn't work.

Then I rearanged to give x in terms of y and y in terms of x: That didnt work either.

    wtf?

What are we currently using, if not OGL? What benefits would OGL provide over current?

Just color at the moment. OGL would allow for very easy object finding, as we'd be able to find the coords of all the triangles in an object, without ever having to find any colours. Equally it can find inventory items, and I believe it can detect the current camera angle and pitch (which is very useful for an idea I've had). I'm not sure if it can detect tiles or not..

It sounds like very powerful tool then. Definitely interested, if it gets off the ground, and has no legal issues, would there be any reason to stay with Simba?

I think the plan was to make a plugin for Simba, the same way that reflection worked. I'm not entirely sure about legal issues, because we aren't accessing or modifying any Jagex code, simply intercepting the graphics information being sent to the graphics card.

From what I read D3D hooking will not be _much_ harder to accomplish. And this will work with the current SRL-lib, as rs it's programmed for low def.

So how come no one's talkin about Direct3D hooking? Anyone ever tryed, or read somethin' about it?

D3D is only available on windows, and it also uses more resources than OpenGL, so for those who want to run multiple bots, or those with lower spec PCs, OGL is far more preferable.

OpenGL and D3D won't work I believe because it won't be compatible with the current srl as srl is meant to be used with safe mode. It would take a ton of color changing to make them work together I believe.

Or we could use Simbascape if it works on resizable? (that way all the colours don't change)

The whole point is to not use color, and to use opengl............

Even TriBot will be using some colour.

We were talking about the plugin for simba to support Opengl. The plugin would be using opengl, not color.

That is what the plugin would be using yes..

He is stating that even if we did incorporate a plugin using OpenGL, we would still need color in places that OpenGL can't handle.
