Default Bitmap [X] doesn't exist fix?

I've setup Simba just now read all the tutorial's and watched the videos, everything says it's up to date. However when I fill out the MSI form and press start I get the "Bitmap [X] doesn't exist" no matter what script I try to run. Is there a fix for this around?

Setup MSI without the form. See the FAQ link in my signature.

I get the same error. Might I ask what causes this when trying to run with the form?

I'm not sure. Unless for some reason not all the bitmaps were downloaded when you MSI was downloaded. I've never had this error and I use MSI almost every day.

I've looked into this for almost an hour, and it happens randomly for me. Going to dig further into this.

Forgot to add this in when I first posted. I only started to get this error when I downloaded and enabled Object DTMs, may or may not have something to do with it.

How is this resolved when it's not? I still get the same error ALL THE TIME. However, pressing the OK button does work, even though it states that it might cause file corruption.

Because we've said time and time again that we don't know why this happens. We've also said several times that you need to setup MSI without the form, and that this error will be fixed when the new form is finished (no, I don't know when that will be).

For you Win 7 Users a fix all I did was run Simba as Adminstrator and I've yet to see a bitmap error using form.

Well, that would explain why I've never received the error. Thanks for posting this.

I'm always running as Administrator and it still happens at times. I restart Simba completely and it works fine at times, it seems rather random.

Which is why it's hard for us to fix it. If we can't reproduce it, and no one knows exactly how they do it, it's hard to look for in the thousands of lines of code.

I was having the same problem as you. Tried The "Run as Administrators", and it didn't work. The solution that worked for me was not using the form.

I get this error all the time when filling out the form.
However the way i go around this is... the first time i fill out the form, i fill out what i want, character + script and all, then when you press RUN it asks you to SAVE information for later use. You indeed get the error. All you do is close simba, restart it, run MSI, this time DONT fill out the form just press RUN. For whatever reason the error does not happen this time and it uses all the information you've entered last time to START and run the script normally.

I dont think this is a fix, but its a way around it
