Across the economy, the percentage of adults in the labor force has collapsed to a level not experienced in generations. As CBS news wrote in a piece entitled “America’s incredible shrinking middle class”: “If the middle-class is the economic backbone of America, then the country is developing osteoporosis.”"

^If our country can only support X number of jobs, why allow more beyond that in? It's a country, not a charity. IF there are jobs for all the immigrants, why not fix the issues and then allow them to get those jobs, rather than continuing to just reopen the wound
The fact is that the job/people ratio is going down and it will only accelerate from here. Automation could replace 30-50% of current American jobs in the next 5-10 years. (but it won't)
This should be a good thing, but American culture is too backward and stuck in the past to accept it. Unfortunately we will always have idiots saying that the current generation is just too lazy. This has nothing to do with laziness. Americans work more hours for less pay than they did in the past.

    2. Not sure if you missed where i said the vetting system is flawed or not...You last line proved that you have no clue what I was talking about when I said "until the system for vetting is better".
"That's exactly what Trump preaches at his rallies. When you put it into words, you realize how stupid it sounds." You should have wrote "when you twist it to make it sound stupid, it sounds stupid".
"Curse Obama for opening the borders to Cuba" Do you not know the human rights violations that occurred within Cuba or why it was cut off?

3.Here's a quote from what I originally said: "why not fix the issues and then allow them to get those jobs, rather than continuing to just reopen the wound?" Americans were not always as lazy as the currently are. So why not work to solve the issue of laziness in America? Instead of completely ignoring it. The current way things are going will just lead to more people being impoverished and more hate throughout the nation. I do agree the vast majority of this country don't want to get off their asses. The thing is, those are the ones that don't support Trump.

There's how you want the world to work, and how it actually works. Many of the things are wonderful in practice, but fail to actually work with the amount of corruption in the world. That's the same reason why socialism doesn't work.

Alien can refer to extraterrestrial life, foreign plants or animals that become naturalized in a region, and immigrants. An alien is just someone/thing from another world in your terms but is that so different from someone from another nation? Think about it.

    1. Or you're just choosing to hear what you want and hoping that it's not what's really being said. If I was missing any points, I'm sure you wouldn't have missed the opportunity to tell me. It is a debate after all.. That's what you're supposed to do.

    --

    2. When I twist it? Lol.. Have you not heard it yourself from Trump's mouth at his rallies? Go on then, tell me what I twisted and what it really is. I don't understand how you're missing all the opportunities to prove what I said wrong. You're right, it does sound stupid, but I'm not the one saying it. It's funny how when I point it out you say it sounds stupid; When Trump says it, he's a God. There's a VIDEO of the guy saying Mexicans are rapists and the cause of MOST of your crimes.. yet when I repeat it, I'm twisting my words.

Human rights violations? I hate calling people naive or finger pointing, if you think Americans give two shits about Human Rights.. Well.. I'll be damned.. Like I said, your pets get better treatment than your humans. Your animals have more rights than you.

Reality Check: The embargo was placed for fear and threats that Cuba may or may not have posed, by siding with communist views. The same fears the USA has against Russia. If you seriously want to argue the cold war, have a go at it, but don't claim Human Rights at all. This is politics. The embargo was kept as a guise under human rights violations for as long as possible. If you don't know the history, learn it, but don't hide it.

    --

    3. Not always as lazy? Then why are you blaming foreigners for that? Fix the current issues? There's no cure for laziness. They've simply gotten too accustomed to that way of life. "They're the ones that don't want to support Trump." Do you even have statistics to back that statement up? I'd rather claim that a smart human being does NOT want to support Trump because of his radical views. The guy isn't a complete idiot. After all, he can certainly trick an entire nation into believing every word he says.

Secondly, Trump is a businessman. He's in Corporate America. If Americans aren't going to do the work, who do you think he's hiring? He's not helping your pockets. He's lining his own. He doesn't care whether or not you're lazy or jobless, he's hiring whoever is willing to work his hotels, and that's NOT Americans. Eventually, Yes, American's are going to be in the same position as foreigners and taking whatever job they can get even though it hurts their pride, only then will people start hiring them. When you work your way up the ladder.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink; Let it lay in hay, it won't starve a day. You can create as many jobs as you like, but you can't force Americans to work.. Especially if it isn't office jobs.

If you think a guy like that, is going to just up and let his businesses fall, all for the sake of hiring only Americans and patriotism, well damn.. I'm lost for words. Like I said, google "Trump's hiring practices". The guy barely every hires any Americans and now he's some sort of Patriotic God? Ahaha.

The guy just screams "I Love America" and everyone falls in his lap.

    1. You chose just to highlight the refugees. I guess I didn't highlight the problems properly but the problems are largely cause by Syrian or Muslim refugees. You can name call all you want, but there is a problem from middle eastern Islam. It's a region that is heavily influenced by war and this influences their religious practices and how they view the world. Western Islam varies a lot from Middle Eastern. As does Islam in the Eastern countries in Asia.

    2. "Have you not heard it yourself from Trump's mouth at his rallies?" you changed his words into your own message and said that's what he preached. You were not using direct quotes. It's possible to do the exact same thing and put a positive light on it. THAT is twisting it. It's rather obvious, I'm surprised you missed it.

You also seem very well accustomed to knowing everything about the United States without living here. Do you have a degree in the studies of this country, or is this just your opinion?

So, even if you're right...you're saying we should still support Cuba even though they go against what our country believes? By that logic, we should encourage people to visit ISIS held cities, right?

    3. This shows two things 1: You have no understanding of running a business/being a leader 2: You have no clue what groups of people make up each party in the US which is understandable as you're from Canada. It's interesting that Trump wasn't considered radical, racist, or really any of these things until he chose to run for president.

You can be a part of something and still dislike how it is operated. Those are people that seek to change things, rather than just complaining about how bad things are.

And what's making people fall in his lap is how upset it's making the opposition. Many people follow Trump because of how tired they are of the PC culture and how it bullies people into submission. If we're making statements like your last one, then wouldn't people have liked Bernie because they all wanted free stuff?

    1. I chose to highlight the refugees? Just a moment ago you were telling me it had nothing to do with refugees, now you're telling me I'm highlighting it. So..??? I never said the religion was perfect. Nor do I even believe in religion. However, your problem started LONG before you even took in any refugees so calm down with the radical islam finger pointing. Most of your terrorism problems lie in the Middle East and you started it. Are you saying that the refugees that you are taking in, is causing your problems? Please.. Your problems are in gun violence, school shootings and all the other crap committed by Americans. Racism and riots against others and you want to blame refugees? Typical American, always pointing fingers at someone else.

    2. Would you like a video with that? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...nts-and-crime/

As for what I know? I used to live there. I'm just as American as you. Just because I don't live there now, does NOT invalid my point. I have a brain just like yours. Since when do I need to be living there to voice myself? I'm to the North of you. What happens South matters so why would I not keep up? I don't understand your logic at all.

You also just proved my last point in my last post: "Do you have a degree". Thanks for that. As if I need a degree to tell you like it is. Well.. I have 3 Bachelors (Computer Science, Psychology, Mechanical Engineering), 0 Masters, 0 PHDs. Would you like fries with that?

Now, do you have any? Apparently if I need a degree to speak on a topic about politics, so do you; and since you're the one that brought it up, it's only right that you post yours.

    3. I'm from Canada so that invalidates my points - Trump supporter logic. As noted in point #2 , I lived in the US and worked there and paid taxes (IIRC, Snyder Avenue Brooklyn NewYork -- The Ghetto. I've also taken the 2 and 3 trains to get home from working in a corner store on Flatbush & Utica Avenue.. I even know the train schedules switch on the weekends) so please, tell me more about how understandable it is that I'm Canadian. Interesting? Many sides of people are hidden until put into the spotlight. What's so interesting about that?

Free stuff? You don't know how politics works. There is NEVER going to be free stuff. Stop claiming what isn't there.

    1. What does this have to do with the price of eggs?

    2. Did you just link me an extremely liberal website? He's also not not entirely wrong...so I fail to see how this helps your case...

I was implying you're a know-it-all. Clearly it hit a rather strong nerve to trigger you in such a way. As for you last point: "The guy just screams "I Love America" and everyone falls in his lap." That's what it was before the edit. Your new last point is highly generalized and aimed at a small group of people, which you seemed to condemn in your previous posts.

    3. Again, you highlight small portions and ignore the rest. Please reread all of what you said. Specifically point 1. What was being referred to in point 2 is your lack of knowing what people fall into what party. You're right, you could be just as American as me and just be completely oblivious to that. I apologize fore attempting to give you the benefit of the doubt.

The spotlight is also very skewed here, so not sure how it's showing a hidden side of him when he has been in it for other reasons in the past.

    1. I have no idea what you're talking about. You completely lost me. Eggs? Since when is point #1 talking about the price of eggs man? I'm simply talking about the ban on foreigners from certain areas being Xenophobic.. Did you somehow lose your way?

    2. Would you prefer a direct youtube link instead? The link was actually proving my point (That Trump states exactly what I stated and yet I'm the one who's a fool). He states Mexicans are all drug deals and gang bangers and rapists. When I stated that (summarized), your words were "You're twisting his words". Well now you have a video. A video is a valid source. I don't exactly care what site it comes from. There's MANY sites that have the same video and are completely legit. If you're going to say "He's right". You're ignorant as hell. In any case, I proved my point. Sounds stupid when I summarize it for you. Sounds Godly when Trump says it.

Also, if he's "not entirely wrong".. then my quote wasn't entirely wrong either.. Why don't you have a read again and tell me how many words I twisted.. again.
Secondly, you're allowed to post statistics from Trump's campaign in support of Trump (obviously, because it's his campaign!) but you bash me for posting a news article. Get your priorities straight.

Yeah you're right, I edited my post to add additional food for thought so my point was off. Sorry, I didn't know you'd literally read only the last line.

    3. "You highlight small portions and ignore the rest." Awesome. Perfect answer when there's no comeback. I like knowing things. It helps me debate against guys like you that just follow propaganda. You did ask for a Degree. I told you the ones I had. You asked if I know anything about America, I gave you an address and my work experience. Now you have a problem with me knowing things. Great. People tend to ask for irrelevant things and deflect when they can't come up with proper arguments.

As for what people fall into what party? When did I say I care about what party people fall into? YOU brought that up. YOU said that lazy people DON'T vote for Trump. I didn't give a shit about your opinion without statistics so I simply ignored it and ask YOU to back it up. Since you can't, you asked me for my degree and whether or not I'm American and all this irrelevant crap that won't help you in any way.

You don't give me any benefit of any doubt. You can't even give yourself proper supporting arguments. I don't want your freebies. You're going to need those when Trump destroys your country.

Finally, skewed? Videos speak truth. There's no skewing of anything when the guy puts it all out there himself. It's HIS RALLY. "The safest place to be in America". What a joke.

    1. Not sure if trolling or just stupid....

    2. "He states Mexicans are all drug deals and gang bangers and rapists." He doesn't state this about them all, please re-watch the video and actually listen. Again, you're twisting things to see them as you want them rather than looking in plain black and white.

If you had summarized it without a biased, I would agree with you. However, you proved incapable of doing such a thing. That doesn't make Trump sound stupid, that weight falls on your shoulders.

    3. No it means you ignore blatant facts to latch on to one small bit of information. You didn't tell me the ones you had until your edit, try to read through what part I quoted in the future. Seeing as those degrees have nothing to do with the subject at hand, I'm confused as to how they matter. Please don't twist what I'm saying. I brought that up to show you're complete lack of understanding. Clearly, it still has it made it through to you.

You're just randomly posting things that are all over the place and contradicting yourself...how is one supposed to argue with that? I could quote extremely conservative things to do what you've done, but I've been taught that such a thing holds no grounds in a debate and is rather stupid.

If you're going to edit and entire post to have different meanings, make another post. Don't trash points made when it's clearly quoting your first post, which you chose to change. That's simply moronic and discredits many of your arguments.

If we're going off reality, I fail to see how you have any touch with what you're talking about. You've had nothing to do with immigration, nor those parts of the world. You don't run nor have you run a business. You aren't a leader. How are you able to put someone down for something you know nothing about? You're just pointing fingers and calling people names like a small child does. You have a great deal of intelligence, but not in what we're discussing. Stop being a know-it-all about it. Clearly, you don't.

    1. Go ahead and view the edits on my post. Tell me what part of my post was "Changed".. In fact, nothing was removed. Only added (grammar and punctuation). Actually, I've responded to all your points directly. No deflection. No mention of degrees. No mentions of egg prices. Secondly, look at point #1 on my first post and posts after that. Do you see the parts that speaks about immigrants and Xenophobia? Now look at your moronic post about price of eggs. Now rethink your definition of trolling or stupidity. Next, I wasn't even replying to you in the first place until you stuck your neck out.

Tell me which parts you feel were edited and where you were cheated. Just say the word. This is a public forum. Just so we're clear, I edit my posts for punctuation and grammar. You can also view the edit history of said posts. Go ahead and do that while I wait.

In fact, if my posts were so edited, are you saying your QUOTES were edited too? I mean, I can't touch them so please.. go on. We have been quoting each other back to back. So stop the nonsense.

    2. He is GENERALIZING you moron. If you can't even grasp that concept, you don't even deserve to vote. If you're going to call me stupid, why don't you add that definition to your dictionary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6QEqoYgQxw "They're not sending their best. They're sending people with lots of problems - they're bringing drugs, they're bringing crimes. They're sending Drug dealers, Rapists; They're not sending you, they're not sending me." As if Americans aren't already doing that. He didn't even mention immigrants. You're supporting a guy that says he will get Mexico to build a wall to block themselves out.. you want to call me stupid? LOL. I'm twisting things? Please stop embarrassing yourself. I say it like it is.

    3. I don't even think you deserve a reply. Why the hell, would I REPLIED to a post, that was asking my education level, without adding my education, instead?. Did you actually think I missed that and edited it in? Are you serious? You're not even worth debating if you're going to stoop so low. If you call me out on my education, damn right I'm going to reply and put you in your place. There's no need for edits.

"Seeing as those degrees have nothing to do with the subject at hand, I'm confused as to how they matter".. Then why the HELL did you ask?! It's fairly obvious I'm a software developer. Did you expect me to have a degree in politics to answer your question? I mean.. did you miss the point where I said it was completely irrelevant? Did you miss the part where I said I didn't need one to understand how the system works? Did you miss the part where I call you out and asked whether or not you yourself has anything relevant? Oh.. you just skipped right over that? Fine.. It's weird that you can ask for degrees but I can't.

"You're just randomly posting things all over the place". Okay.. says the guy asking me the price of eggs, if I'm from America, if I have a degree, if I know what party a group of people belong to.. on a post that was arguing immigration. Do you see how retarded you look? I'm contradicting myself? Point it out? I've asked you multiple times to point out the flaws in any of my statements. All I get are questions about irrelevant crap. Egg prices for crying out loud.

You've had nothing to do with immigration, nor those parts of the world. You don't run nor have you run a business. You aren't a leader.

This is great!! I mean.. I'm sure you have ALL of those things. I seriously need a business to understand business. I need a degree to understand politics and how the world around me works. I'm certainly not a leader but I need to be one to understand who should lead the country..

Let me ask you one thing. Do you fit all of that criteria yourself?

Finger pointing and calling names. I just called you stupid because you insulted me in your last post. Have a nice day. You've embarrassed yourself enough Mr. Egg Prices.

Finally: If I'm editing a post and or correct grammar and or adding extra info you request, I have no idea that you are replying at the same damn time so get the hell off your high horse and stop using that garbage as an argument. You asked me about my education (as an insult to say that I'm not smart enough to speak on such subjects), whether or not I added it before or after, you got your answer. Don't complain. PS: http://i.imgur.com/fYPCaSR.png All I did was "specify" exactly which ones in a later edit, which is completely irrelevant as you yourself stated. It doesn't help you bro.

I don't really agree with this quote but let me attempt to paraphrase it how @Thanatos; sees it:

#1 Lots of the violent crime in Mexico stems from the Cocaine/Methamphetamine/Marijuana trade. Cartel crime in Mexico is pretty serious. A lot of the government in Mexico is far too corrupt to even deal with it on a serious level. There are cities over the border are full on lawless and run by the cartels. Like, try opening up your own meth lab not connected through the cartel will get your entire family killed. Stuff like this simply does not happen in the US(at least not on the scale it does there). Because there is a demand for these substances and much profit to be made of course the cartels are going to smuggle it directly into the US and bring some of the crime with them. How often do you see cartel crime in Europe/Canada? Exactly, Mexico is not next to Europe, they sent cocaine to West Africa and then up North(Or from US->Canada) there are more than a few buffer countries in between

#2 BUT: There are also a lot of people in Mexico that want to escape that environment and move to the United States. If your a poor Mexican in that situation is damn hard to get a work visa if you don't have a job lined up in the US (which is the easiest path to citizenship AFAIK). So you have these people that cross the border illegally.

It's kind of hard to solve #2 without dealing with #1 .

Here is the non-provoking reason I support Donald Trump.

    Lets cover some basics though.
Is the Donald racist? Probably not. I honestly do not care.
Am I racist? No. But I've been called one many of times for voicing this opinion.
Is Islam is race? No. Its a religion.

Donald Trump is the only candidate running right now who is not in favor of letting Syrian refugees in.

And do not get me, wrong I fully acknowledge that the a majority of refugees in Europe (and Canada) are good moderate people who do not and will not cause trouble.

BUT, I am not afraid to point at a problem. Even if it might hurt someones feelings. It can be statistically noted that rapes in a county do in fact go up when you import many Syrian refugees.

I am a idealist, not a pragmatist. And in my opinion, rape is the worst crime. As there is objectionably no justification for it.

In my mind, if one person (and lets be honest it will be more than one) gets raped because of the importation of refugees its not worth bringing them in. Selfish? Yes. In my opinion, selfishness and egotism work great when inserted into government.

Think I'm full of it? Ok, that's cool. But please look through the very many statistics in this report from the Pew-Research center and draw your own conclusions.

    http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/30/t...iety-overview/

And I should bring up the fact that many of the polls and statistic within this report do not include Syria. But, I doubt the opinions of Syria differ much from the opinions carried by the people of a moderate country such as Turkey. And don't be fooled the the phrase "Syrian Refugee" many of these refugees are from Pakistan and Somalia and many other third world countries. And it is very hard to background check someone coming in.

Remember when the left used to rag on the religious right for being anti-gay? Where are you guys now? Just because the new bigots are brown doesn't mean you can't call them on their shit.

TL;DR. In my opinion, it is a bad idea to bring in thousands of unchecked immigrants from countries who have statistically terrible views on liberal values. A major reason to vote for the Donald is to simply prevent rape.

As a side note Trump is the personification of my sense of humor. I love provoking people, its hilarious to me.

    -_- http://openborders.info/hispanic-cri...united-states/

Incarceration rate for US born: 3.51% (non-Hispanic whites: 1.71%,
    non-Hispanic blacks: 11.61%,

Hispanics ranges between 2.3% and 5.9% based on country of ethnic origin, Asians ranges from 1% to 7.2%).
Incarceration rate for foreign born: 0.86%, i.e. about a quarter of that for the US born. (non-Hispanic whites 0.57%, non-Hispanic blacks 2.47%, Hispanics ranges from 0.2% to 2.2% based on country of origin, if we exclude Puerto Ricans, who are US citizens, Asians ranges from 0.1% to 0.9%).

All foreign born ethnicities, including blacks, have lower crime rates than the average for US natives.

Beware: Not all Hispanic people are Mexican. Puerto Ricans in the USA have a high crime rate and so do Colombians if we're talking Hispanics. Guess what? They don't even enter from the border to the South. Jamaica Queens had a high amount of Colombians and crimes when I used to live in the USA. Probably still does. They aren't Mexican.

Let's back the incarceration rates and crime rates with some real statistics: https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s...ables/table-43

Who has the highest crimes? Whites; and you guys are worried about Mexicans? Lol.. The entire population of Hispanics (all Spanish backgrounds -- Dominicans, Mexicans, Colombians, Puerto-Ricans, etc) has less crimes than whites. Please stop the racial B.S. Post some statistics and don't post some biased Trump supporting garbage. I posted the FBI statistics from a .gov website.

Just for some more data: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_a...es#Prison_data

    --

As for smuggling and cartels. That's what Mexico is known for through media (obviously because none of us have ever experienced it directly). While it may be true and I'm not going to deny there are drug lords and cartels (because there certainly is).

That's going to happen whether or not immigrants come from there. Drug lords don't give a shit about your immigration laws. The USA has been trying to crack down on that for years. You think Trump is magically going to enter the white-house and some how stuff is going to be all better now? Guys. Get real. The FBI has been on that for years. Illegal drug busts has been happening since time. Trump can't do it. The USA has been selling weapons to Mexico and various other countries for years. To cry now about how Mexico is smuggling weapons into the USA pfft.. who sold it in the first place?! USA supplies weapons to guys in the Middle East and cries terrorism (Wikileaks).

Also, the world doesn't work like that. If you think police is going to stop every single drug crime committed by Mexicans or any other race, you're sadly mistaken. Without crime, there's no police. Without police, there's no job. I hope you get what I'm saying. A lot of police in America is corrupt as well. Good luck fighting the borders when you can't even fight within.

Next, to generalize an entire nationality because of the crimes of a few is absurd but not unheard of. Yes, you make a good point that they commit crimes. How many of those crimes are done within the USA? How many of those has affected you or your neighbour? When last have you heard of a Mexican drug bust in the USA?

Statistically, you are more likely to hear of a black crime, a school shooting, a serial rapist (rarely ever Mexican), a bomb threat, a car accident, etc..

India is the rape capital of the world, and you let them in just fine. You cry that Mexicans are rapists? Damn..

This is a two way street my dear. You're welcome to your opinion, I will continue to go off of the one I've garnered from those I've debated with in congress on both sides of the political spectrum.

@Brandon; you really need to calm down bud. No need to get so upset when you're arguing against a moron. Then again, if you actually knew what you were talking about and weren't seeing a fairy tale land things might be different.

Sorry man. I didn't know I required a degree, or the knowledge of egg prices to debate on this thread. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, so my rage got the better of me. I'm just not American enough to know what I'm talking about. I wish I knew where to get some, but I don't.

I don't need you to rub any more pepper in my wounds and stitch it with facts, so I'll see my way out.

    +1 I learned a new food.

No idea what it is, but I've been to a quite few Jets games and never saw it..

Sorry you guys had to see that long argument and partial fight. Shouldn't happen, but it does when it comes to debates. At least when I'm in them. In any case, it's a good read on both sides.

I see how you guys think, but I won't ever agree (at least not on all points).

I would also like to apologize for the long tirades of flame that came from me throughout this debate. In the future I will be sure to keep things far more debate oriented and less focused on attacks.

Come back down and try one along with fried cheesecake, fried kool-aid, fried lasagna, and a donut burger. Enjoy the heart attack before you make it back to Canada.

So very nice dude. You go from debating in congress to arguing with some randoms on a unrelated forum. I 100% believe all the bullshit coming from your mouth. Lets say you have debated within congress. I have one question. Do they let all sorts of nutcases debate there now?

Sigh...You're officially a lost cause. Brandon and I put this to rest, and you come back flaming more. It's like a child that has to come in and get the last word just so everyone knows they're right. Seriously common man...I honestly thought you were better than that.

"Do they let all sorts of nutcases debate there now?" More than half of Congress are nutcases that have been elected so I think you can answer this question yourself...

I don't think he has a chance. His style worked to get the nomination, but it's too radical for the general.
