    Default [COLOR] AutoHeat

    AutoHeat

    READ BEFORE POSTING:
    I am not going to update this script, at least not for a long time. All the info needed to make it run properly are found in this thread, just look around and try to make the necessary changes yourself. If you're too lazy to fix it yourself, you don't deserve to use the script.

    Casts super heat and makes Gold, Iron, Steel, Mith and Addy bars.
    Instructions in script.

    UPDATE LOG:
    25.4.2011: Fixed some memory issues, made proggy not show your characters' names.
    21.4.2011: Probably fixed the level-up-bug.

    Wow, how long has it been since you've released a script?

    So good script, but when you advance skill lvl the script stops...
    -> Magic XP: 2862, 62895 XP/H
    -> Smithing XP: 675, 14834 XP/H

    Wierd, never happens to me. Lag maybe?
    I think it notices your bankscreen is open before the coals have appeared, so it immediately says no coal found. I should add a 5 second loop there.

    For now, try adding a wait(500 + random(200)); in the beginning of IdentifyOre. If that doesn't work, try making a new coal DTM with higher tolerance.

    Well there's your next challenge Figure out how I manage the bars and ores and add it yourself!
    This is a very basic task really.

    I really like the script so far, especially as I have never super-heated before (so much better then smelting, I didn't know ).

    Anyway I have been unable to get a long proggy yet. I started off with getting "Not enough materials" alot so I changed the wait time to 10 sec which fixed it mostly. However just now I got it again from only browsing the web. So I changed it to a simple wait instead of the "wait until inv full" and it seems to work fine.

    Also it seems to not recover from randoms well. It has failed twice on randoms where the randoms were solved. Once it said "Couldn't open bank" and the other I'm unsure but it was while it was smelting.

    So, thanks and hopefully I'll have a good proggy soon.

    Yea well, I forgot I was supposed to add some waits here and there, so I'm hoping you can tweak them yourself And randoms are a SRL problem, shouldn't have anything to do with the script itself.

    I don't think its SRLs problem since SRL solves the randoms and the lamp and then gives it back to your script. Then it stuffs up, indicating that the script can't recover from randoms, maybe I'm wrong though.

    Also I just remembered that the "Couldn't open bank" failure did not solve the random. I logged in with the char just at the start of the random, it did not detect it (I reckon it never went to FindNormalRandoms). Which I believe is a problem with the script, though again I could be wrong.

    edit: I got this a gain with "Can't withdraw main ore" as the failure

    Yes I'm very happy with the script as is. Just previously I was smelting steel to level up, I did this all the way to 63. Then I read about how awesome super-heat was and wanted to do it instead. Though I figured I'd have to my own script since no one would have one. But you did.

    So thanks again.

    [edit]
    I am curious about it not detecting the random as I don't want to do it in my scripts. What do you think about modifying the following:

    Simba Code:
    if not Withdraw(9, 0, CurrentOre.Amount) then
      begin
        QuitPlayer('Withdrawing main ore failed');
        Exit;
      end;

    to:

    Simba Code:
    if not Withdraw(9, 0, CurrentOre.Amount) then
      begin
        if FindNormalRandoms then *Redo the banking proceedure;
        else
        begin
          QuitPlayer('Withdrawing main ore failed');
          Exit;
        end;
      end;

    So I'm curious, do you think this is nessecary?

    Hope its not too much trouble, thanks.

    You can basically toss the FindNormalRandoms in several places, can't put too much of them really

    Dunno if this'll get read, but if you could add smelting urn support for this that'd be amazing. The lack of urn support is one of the only things keeping me from autoing sometimes :/

    It should work if you just update the DTMs
