Default Best cyrpto currency to invest in?

I know btc is going up to 4k but I thought it would happen within 5 months. Now it looks like within 3 weeks.
What alternative cyrpto do you think will also sky rocket??

    Dash

This coin is trying to resolve many of the issues; that plagued previous coins.

I think Dash (Digital Cash) will be here to stay and eventually out perform bitcoin; it is a early split from ethereum (i believe)

I am currently building my own cryptocurrency website; to cover all things "coin" related. Whether i finish it or not.. time will tell.

Currently most alt coins are rising with the recent "inflationary" pressure on Bitcoin; early on it appeared as though public perception had chosen to sell alt-coins and/or purchase bitcoins again.

But we have seen and still see solid growth for most legit coins (beware of "exit-coins")

"All rivers lead to the ocean" - In this case the ocean is the Bitcoin as it was the birth of cryptocurrencies and still the leader (albeit classic bitcoin). People may choose to diversify with alt coins; often they will dump any alt-
    coins to re-purchase bitcoins.

kicking myself for not having the few bitcoins i purchased in 2010...

anyways, im convinced btc will reach crazy highs, at least 20-30k, until governments pressured by banks try to take over or crush cryptocurrencys

for all we know though... its probably banks who are buying alot of them now.

Just got into mining for fun this week, and investing/day-trading the earnings with various coins. Bitcoin's $1000 rise in 24hrs was pretty wild, but we'll see if it's a real stable rise and not just a pump once the fork to Bitcoin Gold happens.

Well, anyone who picked just about anything in the top 100 of market cap around when this post was made were probably extremely happy late December. I have my money in XRP and Stellar Lumens at the moment. I think one of those two could do fairly well in the end. I'm no pro investor. So, take this as more of me telling you what I have, and less what you should actually invest in.

I think investing in crypto is closer to gambling than it is investing

I would like to add that if you wish to invest in cryptocurrency choose between these three types:

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum’s main innovation, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is a Turing complete software that runs on the Ethereum network. It allows anyone to run any program, with any programming language. The Ethereum Virtual Machine has simplified and made more efficient the process of creating blockchain applications than ever before. It makes the development of potentially thousands of different applications all on one platform possible. Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third-party interference.

Ripple (XRP): Ripple is the fourth largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. It offers a flawless experience to its customers to send money around the world using the power of blockchain. With its help, financial institutions can process their customers' payments anywhere in the world at once. The Ripple offers banks and payment providers to use the cryptocurrency for reducing costs.
XRP which stands for the Ripple digital currency can be used by enterprise to get instant liquidity needed in a high-value transaction, without paying fees.

Zcash (ZEC): Zcash's blockchain doesn't show who was involved or what the amount was. It only shows that a transaction took place. Zcash is an open-source protocol which doesn't let the Zcash Company control and have any special access to private or shielded transactions. This company only sees a private or shielded transaction if it is a party to that transaction or someone provides it with the correct view key.

As for me, bitcoins are the best. Anyway, it is only your choice. Surely, it is necessary to find out the differences between cryptocurrencies and blockchains like described . Really, may be it is better to read different guides and ask professionals about it. But the last decision must be done by you.
