    Default PayPal Chargeback guide

Thinking of making a PayPal guide to deal with people charging back regarding script sales and runescape item sales. It will basically always have PayPal decide in your favor. Should I?

Picture of recent chargeback on sythe

Resolved in my favor within a day or so of claim, sold him a Runescape script, got banned on sythe and charged me back. Won(:

Just involves how you tackle chargeback and the note. I will also cover how to deal with unauthorized charges not 100% but ,uh easier to deal with.

I say go for it. Hopefully it'll help people out when someone tries to do a chargeback on them.

Worth noting what we already have:

if you feel you have something to add or a different method of staying safe, go for it!

I agree, this guide will basically show how to win charge backs, but that will inversely show how to win them for buyers as well. I will post in the Blackmarket and see if I do we'll on the guide if @YoHoJo can sticky it? I wouldn't be opposed to it being only members as well.

I just thought of this because some people on sythe were banned, like 2-3 of my customers because they scammed, they all charge backed back( almost 300$ in script sales) and I won every dispute simply by following what I do, plus won 3 unauthorized charges by calling them and dealing with it. I'll explain both in the guide, have some pictures ect. PayPal is honestly really safe for sellers, just have to know how to deal with chargebacks.

Both guides contain misconceptions about dealing with Paypal chagebacks(:

Maybe I'm missing something but how would they ever get away with claiming "Missing Parts" on an intangible item?

PayPal covers physical goods, so if the buyer doesn't physically receive anything and you haven't got any proof of tracking, then PayPal will side with them.

Given that those guides are 2 and 4 years old, I would not be surprised if that used to be true.

It might have been I'm just wanting to share this with SRL traders who use PayPal, ya know? Writing it now.

Can someone explain to me, If a person has a verified PP account can they do charge back too? Must you go through a battle with them to get your money back? Or is there a different way for people who are verified to deal with?

Verified is the same way as non, however it does give you a bit mroe swing with PP to be verified VS non verified.

Interested in the guide, since I don't trade with 90% of the people on powerbot with paypal.

So ppl with a verified paypal are less likely to scam? Since you can find out who they are and all right?c

Can't wait to see the guide. I have a lot of questions needing answers lol.
Not that I do many trades, but its still good to be informed when the time comes.

Why does the guide needs to be in the black market? It could be useful for other members here in villavu too.

Agreed, I've had people try to charge back server services they pay for and use for a while.. I just dump an buttload of logs and such to prove they were using whatever it was.. and bam

I'm quite interested in the guide, because I don't like to use paypal in fear people charge back and I hate dealing with that kind of stuff since I'm always 100% legit with things it's too much stress to even worry about people stealing from me
