Default **Smart cannot spawn clients** Help.

Whenever i try to start an 07rs script, i get a message saying ** Smart Cannot Spawn Clients **

Smart proceeds to load, but the script doesnt load with it for some reason, it just stops after that message.
I've looked around the forum for hours, and i've seen many reports of this problem, but no solutions. Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks

Whenever it says "SMART cannot spawn clients", I just close all instances of Simba and reopen and it works. Give that a try I guess.

I'm not familiar with the current fixes for this error.

Nope, windows 7. And don't be mad at Chris, he gave me a tip that worked for him, and it just happened not to work for me. Not his fault :\

Go to control panel>system security> windows firewall> Click on turn windows firewall on or off check mark the button Notify me when windows firewall blocks a new app, Re run simba if that still doesn't work just turn of your firewall completely and run simba. I don't recommend keeping it off to long though.
If all that dosen't work for you turn your firewall back on there's a couple other things that might be causing the problem.

And by the way I wasn't talking to Chris I was talking about everyone who posts in help threads 99 percent of the time they just tell you to re-install something lol..

A few people that have had this problem updated their java to the latest and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot since nothing else has worked

EDIT: Also, a guy on my thread yesterday said that he deleted everything in C:\Simba by hand and reinstalled everything and it fixed the spawn issue

The reason we tell new users to re-install is because often they haven't installed it correctly.

Try loading up Runescape in your browser in safe mode. There was also someone a little while ago who had this problem and it was solved by running Simba as administrator, so try that as well.
