Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a way in runescape to find your exact Latitude and Longitude using treasure clue instruments?

I've had this idea several times actually, but analysing a picture of such magnitude would cause horrible lag and such

Is it possible to read the code coming from the client and have it read the latitude and longitude used for treasure trails?

I think it's been done before but with other players health levels.

Yes, that's true, but treasure trail equipment is members' only; unless you want to weed through dozens of packets to try and find your lat. & long., that'd kinda be out of the question. (Unless of course you are a member.)

One could do it with some simple delphi knowledge and a bit of C++ (I think) knowledge.

Take the pieces of the Cheat Engine source that target processes and search their memory, put them into a dll, and use delphi a simple delphi plugin as an 'in-between' for SCAR and the dll.

Basically, it would allow one to search within the client's memory for certain bits of information, which could (somewhat easily) be used to find the longitude and latitude of your character (assuming that these values are stored in the client; I'm pretty sure they are)
Interested in C# and Electrical Engineering? This might interest you.

Hmm wasn't the whole point of SCAR to make it a Colour click so that it wouldn't go *bangcrashAAAAGGGGHHHHboof* Like AutoRune did. The whole packets thing would eventually be solved by Jagex and aren't they encrypted anyway?

    BangcrashAAAAGGGGHHHHboof? That made me laugh

AutoRune, from what I've heard, went all bangcrashAAAAGGGGHHHHboof because it was editing and sending packets to RS. Not just reading.

And I remember reading somewhere that RS packets aren't encrypted. Just the login packets.
