    My favorite color is black, but red goes with black very well so I guess I have to pick red.

    Not totally true because your blood has oxygen in it once it passes through your lungs.

    Very true, but isn't blood without oxygen in it more towards a black or very very deep red and very thick.

    I don't think our blood becomes blue at any time... the types of blood are just illustrated with blue and red colors for didactic reasons...

    blood is never blue, ever (in humans at least)

    While water / crystals etc will split white light up, there are many things that manipulate color.. our skin for example, allows red to pass through, however reflects blue, therefore we see blue.

    purple is my favorite color so the poll is too hard for me to choose
