    Default Xbox, Dissapointment

I was a bit disappointed today when I pulled out my original modded Xbox and found out that I could play my favorite game from when I was a kid, Ninja Gaiden.

I couldn't play it because my power cord appears to be bad, I looked briefly for a cheap replacement online, but most of the ones I found had reviews that said it was the completely wrong cord or that it went bad very very quickly.

Has anyone else wanted the nostalgia of playing on their old original Xbox?

Try it on 360? Most popular games are available... you just have to be online to update your emulator on your harddrive.
You have permission to steal anything I've ever made...

Ummm, I'm not sure I understand. Way back then my uncle Modded the Xbox for my family and we used to use it as an entertainment system. I don't own any games for Xbox because we just downloaded them and transferred them to the hard disk of the Xbox.

Sooo, I don't own Ninja Gaiden, but it should still be stored on the HDD of the old Xbox, but without a power cord, I can't play it. I will have to buy one at some point.

    EDIT: its working?
The cable has a little button in it, the button is popped probably from a power outage at some point, and when pressed back in automatically pops out. It has done this in other outlets. My 360 that has been plugged into the same wall for quite a while, has not had any issue.

I might have an original xbox cord that I can get rid of. I know I have 360 parts, but just a question how much were they charging for the cords?

I'm not sure, I ended up never buying one. I just bought the game for the 360 and played it on there.
