    Default Simba Documentation and Implementation

    Evening all,

I am rather confused about Simba and its intended implementation I hope you all can clear some things up for me.

    I have learnt python and just recently some Autoit scripting, I was told Simba can offer the capabilities that Autoit offers and more when it comes to game automation.However, There doesn't seem to be any solid documentation for example a detailed primary index on Simbas functions is this correct ?. just about all of the Simba Official documentation seem to be blank pages no offence!, I am sure they are still being worked on .so my three questions are as such;

    1. Does Simba have any (no offence to tut writers on the forums please ) "Solid" documentation and tutorials.

    2. I see a lot of RuneScape tutorials this makes me wonder, will most of simba functions and extensions only work with RuneScape ?

    3. Is their other languages more suited to other games like Wow and Rift Automation ? I know java has a robot function that is kinda cool.

    Thanks
    Odin

    1. http://docs.villavu.com/simba/, - The tuts are what they are.... Messy but.. Once you read a couple (Especially the "all in one" and "learning to write a basic script") you will start to understand and it doesn't take long to get a grasp of the language.. . ..
I suggest YOhojojoloso video tuts... They did wonders for me.. http://www.youtube.com/user/YoHoJoSRL?feature=watch

    2. Nar.. Simba is like.. a color finding program..
A lot of people use it for those like... mini games.... on facebook n stuff.. That you earn gold by you know.. by clicking this thing or that thing......

    3. Uhmm.. . . . ..................... What games?

1.You said Simba's documentation, that is here http://docs.villavu.com/simba/, in case you want SRL-5 documentation that's here http://docs.villavu.com/srl-5/

2.SRL (SRL Resource Library) is designed for runescape, but you can still use Simba for other games. Just use the crosshairs tool to select your client

    3.I don't know, sorry.

I would have responded by saying the SRL-Wiki but I have no clue what happened to it or why it died :l
I'm sure there's a lot of us who wouldn't mind working on it.

The other documentation is mentioned above.

As for alternatives, you can roll your own? You can view a quick Java example I wrote here: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101765
Check all the replies on that thread.

Or just write one in a language of your choice..

Simba can work on other programs too, i used it to help me finish downloading PlanetSide2 (every like 2 minutes i'd get an error then have to click to continue to finish downloading the game, so i wrote a script that clicks the message then continues the download).

As others have stated above, there is documentation for simba and its include.
