    Default Is it possible?

Been floating around the tutorial section for a couple of days and have finally decided to try and make a script. I was wondering if it would be viable for me to try and develop a Queen Black Dragon script and would love some advice.

I've been studying C++ and java for 2 years at uni so I'm no stranger to coding and Pascal doesn't seem too bad.

    Thanks.

I believe Queen Black Dragon is viable. However, I also believe that not onlyy would she require a very talented writer to handle her efficiently, but she also happens to be one of the few places almost constantly under a heavy bot-watch with both automated and manual bans. I want to try and tackle her sometime, but that's my 2 cents. I would most definitely recommend working on a couple of other easier scipts first.

Yeah it would make sense to start simple, thanks for your input

And as for the bans, a friend of mine who was an ex-script writer at PBot told me that most of the automated bans were caused from jagex detecting the use of the pbot client as opposed to the actual script. This was clear after me and a close friend did some legit dunegoneering together where he was using the pbot client and after 5 minutes he got dc'd and his dungeoneering level was rolled back to 1. Is there any information as to whether jagex can detect the SMART client.

    Thanks again.

The SMART client emulates a Firefox browser with the packets it sends back and forth to Runescape, so we are among the least detectable clients. However - it would be possible to determine us (and any bot) as an invalid client by using a process detection on our local system. Thankfully that is illegal in most countries without us agreeing to it, and as it's not in the ToS yet to allow them to do that, we remain fine for now (as we have been for over 7 years )

EDIT: SIMBA is not detectable except through the process detection. SMART however is detectable as our Firefox emulation is kinda poor (as in we probably are only sending it base initialization values as such).

But keep in mind even with the remote possibility of them putting forth the effort for client detection - Using a separate client is not necessarily indicative of actually being a bot as you can legit in a separate client - and some people do. It simply would be a possible mark to put you under a more scrutinous watch (if they would do client detection which I'm pretty sure they don't).
