    Default PS, Image Recognition?

    I have searched a little on the web and didn't really find what I was looking for really. In PS is there anything better than Bitmaps?

    I am trying to write a solver for puzzles like this....http://mypuzzle.org/sliding just a 5x5 sliding puzzle.

    Like Shay said, if you don't want to use bmps you could count the colour to recognise the number. Similar to what Ian did here
