I just want to preface this by saying I have near zero scripting experience, so any help would be appreciated and if this whole thing is erroneous, I apologize.
Hoodz Fighter: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99977
Here is the situation: Hoodz has made a fantastic script for combat and it has worked me well thus far; however, I am at the point in combat level where the monsters I now train at do tend to drop profitable items. Hoodz's looting system in his script does get stuck in a loop if it fails to pick it up due to a full inventory just as he has stated and recommends only picking up stackable items such as runes and noted items. but I feel like actual items could be picked up.
What I propose: RS-Wikia has stated that a dropped item have a 3 minute time before it disappears. When the loot procedure is called, it searches for the item based on name and color - the problem lies if you have a full inventory in which the procedure is looped over and over again. I hope that an experienced scripter or Hoodz himself could add a break timer of 2 minutes and 30 seconds if the inventory is stated to be full. Within that time span of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the script would be running as intended: fighting monsters and eating food once your HP drops below your specified integer and of course, that frees up space. At the end of that 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the loot would still be on the ground and if you have eaten the item would be picked up and if you haven't, another 2 minutes and 30 seconds break would commence and the loot would disappear.
The time of 2 minutes and 30 second is an arbitrary number, it could be changed to 1 minute and 30 seconds if so or any number the scripter pleases.
Is this possible scripters?
