Here is how I got Simba to work for Old School Runescape. Please note that I have no expertise in any of this stuff. If this doesn't work, I can't help.
Step 1:
- Uninstall Simba from your computer to start fresh. Delete the Simba folder from your C: drive.
Step 2:
- Go here and download Simba: http://wizzup.org/simba/#downloading-simba
Step 3:
- Install Simba by opening the file you've just downloaded, and follow the prompts.
Step 4:
- Once Simba is open, go to 'View' and click 'Extensions'.
- Enable srl.sex and associate.sex
- At the top of the screen, select 'SRL', then select 'Check for Updates'.
- At the top of the screen, select 'SPS', then select 'Check for Updates'.
- Let them both finish downloading the updates.
Step 5:
- Exit Simba and reopen it. Check for updates again under SRL and SPS to make sure they've updated.
Step 6:
- Go here: https://github.com/SRL/SRL-OSR
- On the right hand side, click 'Download as ZIP' (location for the 'download' button may be different for you).
- Extract this file to your 'Includes' folder in C: > Simba > Includes.
- Go into your 'Includes' folder and change the name of this file to 'SRL-OSR'.
That's it. This is all that I did and it's working for me. I've found that many scripts haven't been working, but I suspect it's because they're outdated or have anti-leech errors within them.
If your script doesn't work, try this:
- Open the script in Simba.
- At the top, click 'Script' and then select 'Interpreter'
- If it's currently on 'Lape', try switching to 'PascalScript', and vice-versa. I've had some scripts work on both.
