    Default Short RS '07 Guide

Here is how I got Simba to work for Old School Runescape. Please note that I have no expertise in any of this stuff. If this doesn't work, I can't help.

    Step 1:
    - Uninstall Simba from your computer to start fresh. Delete the Simba folder from your C: drive.

    Step 2:
    - Go here and download Simba: http://wizzup.org/simba/#downloading-simba

    Step 3:
    - Install Simba by opening the file you've just downloaded, and follow the prompts.

    Step 4:
    - Once Simba is open, go to 'View' and click 'Extensions'.
    - Enable srl.sex and associate.sex
    - At the top of the screen, select 'SRL', then select 'Check for Updates'.
    - At the top of the screen, select 'SPS', then select 'Check for Updates'.
    - Let them both finish downloading the updates.

    Step 5:
    - Exit Simba and reopen it. Check for updates again under SRL and SPS to make sure they've updated.

    Step 6:
    - Go here: https://github.com/SRL/SRL-OSR
    - On the right hand side, click 'Download as ZIP' (location for the 'download' button may be different for you).
    - Extract this file to your 'Includes' folder in C: > Simba > Includes.
    - Go into your 'Includes' folder and change the name of this file to 'SRL-OSR'.

That's it. This is all that I did and it's working for me. I've found that many scripts haven't been working, but I suspect it's because they're outdated or have anti-leech errors within them.

If your script doesn't work, try this:
    - Open the script in Simba.
    - At the top, click 'Script' and then select 'Interpreter'
    - If it's currently on 'Lape', try switching to 'PascalScript', and vice-versa. I've had some scripts work on both.

Thanks so much dude. I haven't used simba for ages and have a new laptop so I forgot how to set up everything. I couldn't find a working tutorial either. This is fast and simple+it works

Started from having no simba on my computer to botting in under 5 minutes.

Thanks a lot, this should honestly be stickied lol

Good to hear it's working for others as well. I haven't used Simba since before the EoC, so it's been a while for me as well. Coming back to find 3-4 different tutorial threads, all of which are outdated and linking to other threads each step of the way was just incredibly frustrating.

Which scripts are you using anyway? Maybe I'll download them as well since they seem to be working for you.

This guide has been working for many others, so maybe you've done something wrong along the way.

If certain scripts aren't working, remember that many scripts are outdated or may have anti-leech errors in them.

It might depend on what script you're trying to use. The more info you can provide the better. How about stating which script you want to use and what errors you're getting.

    Current projects:
[ AeroGuardians (GotR minigame), Motherlode Miner, Blast furnace ]

When using Lape, I get this error: Exception in Script: File "P07Include.Simba" not found at line 4, column 5

When using PascalScript, I get this error: Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'P07Include.Simba' used from ''

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sorry for the late reply. Using the ghoul script by Hoodz, but I have a feeling that any script by either Hoodz or Flight will work at the moment :P

Alright so I had the same problem as you. To fix this I moved SRL.simba and SRLLape.simba from SLR-OSR to Simba>Includes>SLR

Idk why this has to be done and I can't figure it out. I don't see a lot of other people having this problem and I haven't successfully gotten a script to work, for whatever reason.
