Default How to play flash games at school!

Hello, I am going to teach you guys how to run flash games at school! (because most of the cool websites have are blocked)

    Step 1) Download SWFObject2_2 from here*https://code.google.com/p/swfobject/...2.zip&can=2&q=
this will make this journey a whole lot easier.

Step 2) Find a flash game of your choice. I picked front-line tower defense -*http://www.maxgames.com/play/frontline-defense.html

Step 3) If your using google chrome, right click --> View page source (if you not using google chrome then.. well*https://www.google.com/search?output...q=&gs_l=&pbx=1 )

Step 4) Now that you have the source of the page, do Ctrl + f and search for '.swf' until you find a link:

    media

Click the link and it should download the .swf file.
Take note of the parameters "width" and "height" beside the link:

    javascript Code:
    quality="autohigh" wmode="direct"  width="640" height="480" name="gameObj" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="always"

Write these down you will need them.

Step 5) Install the program that you downloaded in step 1 and open it up.

    media

Now go on down to SWF definition, and rename untitled.swf to the name of the .swf file you downloaded.

Step 6) Hit generate. Now copy and paste the code into notepad and save it as 'Play.html'

Step 7) Put Play.html and the .swf you downloaded in the same folder.

    media
Now open play.html and you now have a local version of the game!! YAAAAY!!

NOTE: Some flash games require that you use their website such as balloons tower defense 5.

Credits to bg5 for link to the program (which I actually found before he showed me but I re-explored it afterwards )

Most schools that prevent you from playing games don't block the internet as such. They restrict the whole computer from accessing certain keywords, sites, files, & folders etc.. They also stop you from download anything from the internet. Don't ask me why, but they just do.
