    Default Updated SRL-OSR Setup (December 28, 2014)

    TL;DR: SRL-OSR doesnt work (nor has it really worked that well in a long time...), so while the specifics no longer apply on these setup instructions, the process of installing an extra include still do. Follow this procedure for aerolib, reflection, oglib, whatever.

    And idk whats at this link, but more info i guess. https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114552

    Okay. Short and sweet because I dont care about OSR, I just dont like it when 50 people come in IRC asking how to 'get 07rs bot client working??!111?///'

    REQUIREMENTS:
    JRE 7_whatever 32bit (x86)
    No installation of JRE 6_whatever. (UNINSTALL IF YOU HAVE IT)
    And just to be safe, make sure you dont have JRE 8 either.
    (heres the java link if you cant find it http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...s-1880261.html)

    First... Download simba.
    Got it downloaded? Good.
    Download it from here if you cant find the link for some reason...
    Code:
    http://simba.villavu.com/bin/Release/Current/SimbaInstaller.exe

    Now install it. Pretty self explanatory here, if you cant install it without instructions, go be a hermit.

    Now, youve got it installed? Good!
    Open it up.

    First things first, lets get SRL-6 and SPS and all that good stuff installed. (SRL-6 is for RS3, but it only takes a few seconds to get)
    So... View -> Extensions.

    Now click the Associate (not required, but nice) and SRL and make sure they are checked enabled at the bottom...

    Now close that out. You should have 2 new menus at the top, SRL and SPS.
    Update those...
    SRL -> Check for Update
    SPS -> Check for Update

    Something like this at the bottom should appear... Let it do its stuff until it says its done.

    Overwrite plugins if it asks.

    One last setting now... Youll need to change the interpreter to PascalScript..
    Script -> Interpreter -> PascalScript

    (This will need to be changed back to Lape to run any RS3/SRL-6 Scripts)

    Now, we have SRL-6, SPS, SMART8.3 and... Some stuff.
    Time to download SRL-OSR.
    Code:
    https://github.com/SRL/SRL-OSR/archive/master.zip
    Got it downloaded? Good. Open that zipped folder up.
    Should have something looking like this...

    Now, navigate to your Simba installation folder...
    By default:
    Code:
    C:\Simba\
    Now... Navigate yourself to the Includes folder...
    Code:
    C:\Simba\Includes
    Got something like this? Good.

    Extract that zipped folder we had open earlier to this directory...
    Now you have this.

    Rename SRL-OSR-master to
    Code:
    SRL-OSR

    Now... we are done. But lets open the folder to ensure its there...
    Got this? Good. Youre done.

    Close out simba, reopen it and run a script. Youre golden.
    Anything else besides the Official SRL includes you are on your own for (aerolib/reflection/whatever), but their download threads generally have instructions too. (and may invlove switching the interpreter to lape)

    Notes on this tutorial...
    Do NOT PM me asking me how to do something. I wont reply.
    DO help other people if you got it.
    DO tell me if I made a mistake. (I dont play OSRS, so... I could have done this wrong)
    Do NOT post on this thread expecting me to help you and teamview you to get it running. I wont.

    Ignore This:
    Error: File "SRL-OSR/SRL.Simba" not found at line 3
    Error: File "SRL-OSR/SRL.Simba"
    SRL-OSR/SRL.Simba

    I heard that SMART 8.3 no longer needs to be installed and personally I don't really like filedropper over just a github link.

    Also you can't expect me to read and respond to reports outside of vacations because I work 40 hours a week + I follow a study on a university of applied science in the weekends. There is no time.

    where did you hear that smart8.3 no longer needs to be installed?
    and the filedropper link has the minireflection/al_functions/Flights antirandoms too (yes people still manage to f*** that up).

    smart8.3 is included in the plugins.tar.gz which is downloaded with srl6.
    I agree with masterBB on the github vs filedropper link, unless somehow you keep it updated 24/7

    I did all of this and Simba runs certain scripts fine, but Reflection isn't working still. I'm getting the "Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'SRL-OSR/SRL/Reflection/Reflection.simba" error. Can anyone help me with how to set up reflection?
