add the full path to java.exe, for example:
    > `D:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.8.0_05\bin\` or.. `D:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_71\bin\`
    ^ these are just examples.

There's a chance you need to reboot. You should be able to open console once environment vars are set properly: Start > search for > cmd in cmd write "Java", and it should not return "not recognized" anymore.

Don't worry about my path examples not matching, just be sure to add the correct environment path, a path that matches your java install. So Java is inside bin/ as it says, that's what you should add to your PATH environment variable. Also read my above edit.

I hava a 5 diff java versions, which is likely why our paths doesn't match.

I just restarted and now I'm still getting this error.

[AL] Error while finding default Java, searching for Java...
Failed To Find Java.exe or Javaw.exe. Please add ...\JRE\Bin to your PATH environment variable.

I'm sure the path I've added is correct. Also typing java into cmd does not return "not recognized"

also, thank you for the help so far.

Edit: shall i try installing java to my c drive?

Installing to the C drive just gives me this error.
[AL] Error while finding default Java, searching for Java...
Failed To Find Java.exe or Javaw.exe. Please add ...\JRE\Bin to your PATH environment variable.

    Edit 3:

So I unistalled java, unistalled simba then reinstalled on my C drive and it's still searching for java at D:\Program Files (x86)\Java\ so simba still returns this error.

Edit 4: So after a restart I still get this error: [AL] Error while finding default Java, searching for Java...

but the client does open, so assuming it means it's found it?

[AL] Error while finding default Java, searching for Java...
Failed To Find Path: D:\Program Files (x86)\Java\

That said if this doesn't work I am sorry, I can't really help much more, as idk why it fails. And I don't wanna do any research to figure it out.

This include is working perfectly! Great thing that this can run when say reflection is down. I remember when things were just Pascal on here!
I know this isn't a problem because I'm running a script using AeroLib but when I run it, it checks the version but says: error while checking.
Is there anything I should do or just ignore this?

Will you be updating from rstext to SimpleOCR anytime soon? It's getting more and more frequent that people come on IRC complaining that windows defender is flagging it as a virus and deleting it. Which is most likely putting people off using simba/srl/aerolib.

Last night I had this same experience. I would like to transition to aerolib, but windows defender is automatically deleting the downloaded files.

Get some proper antivirus software, and disable that crapware.
    Problem solved.

Windows Defender Firewall and Malwarebytes Pro is perfect!

e: I do have windows defender on but it's only because I haven't turned it off... or some other reason that I've forgotten about.

Whenever I try to run my scripts that include aerolib I receive this error: Error: Unknown declaration "isBankOpen" at line 368 Compiling failed.. My interpreter is set to Lape, aerolib was working for me just a day or two ago, and I have updated everything. I also have received a similar error regarding "warn" but it seems I was able to fix that by disabling plugins. My jre path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_91". Does anyone have a suggested solution?

When downloading the plugin, the download is stopped because a trojan is being detected

It is probably your virus protection. But you better delete the word trojan before slacky schools you

Try redownloading, The dl was likely interrupted for some reason, since it worked for Turpinator.
