Default Battlefield 3 Free through EA's origin

    http://www.pcworld.com/article/22410...-one-week.html

I think it ends today, i had a go at it yesterday & today.. Gosh it's very time consuming.

Some pics i took (max detail, runs very smooth on my laptop - this game was programmed correctly *unlike Bf4 release*):

I enjoy playing as assault, it was a pain in the ass to unlock the defibrillator but once i did i pretty much shot up to the top ranks in the game, you get much lower score at other classes (unless you're pro and can kill players efficiently, obviously you can't do that with basic unlocks).

Anyone else play it on PC? i've played it when it first came out on my brother's PS3, its a lot of fun but sometimes the rounds tend to drag out and if you leave midway you lose all the progress you made in terms of points for unlocks.

I played this game way.. Way way too much today, got home from work at around 2~ or so Pm, pretty much sat down and played it (almost without breaks/lost my
brain & thought process) i just brainlessly played it till 9 pm, now i have to go to bed so i can wake up for work tomorrow. I got so focused on wanting to unlock mortars because it's cool, i just didn't realize that item requires tens of hours of gameplay (i thought it will be quick, but the game levels you kinda of slowly)...

Overall it's a lot of fun & Free (Till today? i think), Origin kinda of sucks too you cant choose servers from within the game it all has to be done in a web browser.. My head hurts now, so many brain cells lost.

I played it awhile back before bf4 was released. It required too much grinding to get the weapon you want.

Do you play any co-op? is it possible to unlock mortars quickly from there?, just had a look at this http://www.ign.com/wikis/battlefield-3/Kit_Unlocks that's crazy.. My brother must of played this game for weeks to unlock mortars lol, would it be possible to use his PS3 account thing on pc? he has most stuff unlocked, including f2000 which is a weapon that 1 hits anyone from any body part.

I tried co-op, it kept saying game cancelled then eventually i found a guy, we played and 1 of the APC'S was supposed to enter the map but it never did so i tried to go outside bounds to destroy it and only had 2 seconds, pretty much mission failed and couldn't find any other people to play with..

Good game but loads of grind..

Think i need a break from that game, played again today - eventually i unlocked the mortar and it was actually fun to use.. But i had to play a lot on support on maps like metro and just keep supplying bullets.

I have like 11 hours of gameplay now in the span of 3 days.. My head hurts lol.

Yeah it's a great game (*Coming from a BF fanboy*) - the only problem I have with Origin releasing it free is hackers. They're breeding like rabbits -.-

Pretty nice score for a bit of laptop gameplay. Actually got more into BF3 than I did BF4, however BF2 and 2142 still wins my heart.
