    Default How is botting ATM?

Just came back from an RS hiatus after losing all my bots, made a new main that I've been playing legit on but have started learning simba again (just been experimenting with reflection and other functions).

Has anyone gotten any bans recently? I was hoping to rotate through several skills for an hour or so each, then do a quest or something, and then break. Should I bother even doing that and just play legit or is it safe for me to take my chances?

Please don't answer with any "if you bot you are always at risk of ban" crap lol.

    Thanks for the answers!

I've never had any problems with being banned from using Simba. Although they do quite a bit of manual bans, I believe the rate of which we're actually detected is still very low, but this could differ based on many factors. Script quality, amount of anti-ban, total run time, XP/wealth gained, amount of time interacted with other players (according to my scripts personal, this doesn't matter), amount of areas you visit, your speed & accuracy of handling a random event (not all random events have solvers). Everything matters but we can cross out the factors that are more or less important when it comes to being detected, like as I mentioned before; interacting with players doesn't seem to matter so much.

I can say for sure that it's important that you avoid being reported by other players. You can avoid this in a number of ways, like hopping worlds if someone appears on your map or if a player says your nickname.

If it makes you feel better, hands down Simba users have the absolute least chance of being caught and banned, naturally.

Botting detection has improved a lot, jagex has banned so many bots recently.

But still Simba has the most chances to survive. People using paid scripts at other java bots are getting banned in no time. I was botting something with Simba for like a year (took some month breaks), thats how long I lasted without a ban.

I came back from a hiatus as well. I have created a few scripts and i want to see how how much gold i can farm up before summer is over or i get banned. It's been over a month now and all is well. Reflection is a great addition to Simba (for me walking mainly). Welcome back.

The chance is lower, but not gone. There are a TON of manual bans, so if you are going to bot I would suggest the most remote places if you go for long periods of time.

For example divination has a super high ban rate, and a pretty high one for simba as well because people are still scouting that area.

I wasn't planning on doing much goldfarming anymore, I'd make money for membership doing skilling.

I was going to make something to fish/cook, then something to thieving, and then do some legit combat and quests in between. Trying to experiment with making something to do multiple skills

I got a 2 day ban (Bot busting *Moderate*, manual i guess) recently, if i bot again i'd get permed..
Good news is that i have no reason to bot, my accounts are complete.

Jagex are going pretty hard against bots, it would be smart to assume that they bought/gained access to all the java scripts and are pretty much banning them in a heartbeat. Simba is a wise choice right now - it can't handle all randoms but still runs quite well with proper standards/anti bans.

Just be careful not to over-do .

Has anyone experienced any chain bans recently? I'd like to make a few F2P accounts to test other scripts but I don't want my main account to end up getting hit too

EDIT: Eh I just won't risk it, I'll stick to just botting on my main and not test any other scripts lol

I think he means "Bot Busting Moderate" but it sounds like yours is different.

If you're using injection client like powerbot or tribot then yeah it isn't safe... People on pbot forums are talking about how their goldfarming accs get banned in a matter of hours

If we're speaking about Simba in particular, then I would say it is pretty safe. Don't bot for an unreasonable amount of hours and try to add in your own unique antiban and you should be fine.
