    Your cpau isnt in C:\simba. It must be at the same directory as the current directory of the cmd.
    Also why download a closed source 3rd party program when u can simply use window's runas command?

    cpau is better than runas. You can pass the password through your cmdlet and also startup with network credentials vs. local credentials.

    Also when you runas, you lose the ability to access NAS (network attached storage) - security feature imposed by Microsoft.

    You could even tell cpau to generate a CRC, and if the check fails, the job won't be started.

    You could just save credentials so u only need to enter the very first time. Also by network credentials do u mean linking the user account to a microsoft account? Why would u want to do that if the user account is only created for botting, and why do u think runas couldnt do anything that cpau could?

    I still don't know how to do this either. Any help please?

    Edit: I solved the issue, to get it to work once you've done all the steps, you need to put the cpau.exe into the simba folder as well, for anyone else that is struggling with this.

    Nice guide, just worried about using the same IP address for all my clients.

    Don't be, Jagex doesn't ban accounts solely on basis of IP address.

    Yeah, but still. It may draw more attention, which would be the last thing I would want.

    Honestly if Jagex did do any banning on basis of IP address, we'd all be pretty screwed.

    It's not even worth losing sleep over - you'll be detected in a thousand other ways before your IP ever becomes a factor.

    Well they would probably ban your IP all together, before banning every single account pertaining to that IP address

    Why would this lower cpu usage?
    I cant Think of a single reason why it would?

    What method out of the 2 suggested does everyone recommend?
    I'm leaning towards the relocating of the cache folder as I rather not create a bunch of user accounts.

    The easiest method i've found (at least in windows 8) is to create the user accounts, add full control permissions to the security of the simba folder and simply shift-right click on the simba icon and run each instance with it's own user account. The link to the cpau program did not work for me, but this simple method worked like a charm.

    Is there are memory leak with the current SMART clients?
    With several other sites I was unable to run more than ~3 at a time, even though I have run far more in the past.

    Has anyone else noticed that when using this method reloading smart clients fails more often?

    Hi

    Old thread, but I'd need help can't get this working. I've got it up to opening simba via the desktop shortcut, when I attempt running a script on it however it gives me this error: " Error loading C:\Simba\Plugins\libsmartremote32.dll: Virheellinen muistipaikan k?ytt?. Compiling failed." The foreign part is basically "invalid access to memory location" or so. Would appreciate the help!

    Edit: Possible additional requirement: If you have never entered security credentials into the Windows command prompt before, you will need to enter the password for the newly created user account now." I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with this, I don't know how to enter the password. The foreign part with a (5) means permission denied. http://puu.sh/tHfbq.png

    Perhaps try using an operating system that is still supported by microsoft? Any steps someone might try to do to fix it may not work on xp.

    If that isnt an option, how would I try implementing the other suggestion in comments:

    Simba Code:
    type
    TPW = record
    b: Byte;
    end;

    Function TPW.Execute(Application: String; Args: TStringArray = []): Boolean;
    var
    I: Integer;
    Tmp: TProcess;
    begin
    Tmp.Init(nil);
    Tmp.setExecutable(Application);

    For I := 0 To High(Args) Do
    Begin
    Tmp.getParameters().Add(Args[I]);
    End;
    Tmp.Execute();
    Tmp.Free();
    end;

    Procedure CreateCacheSymLink();
    begin
    //CreateDirectory('"%USERPROFILE%/Desktop/NewCache"');
    TPW.Execute('cmd.exe', ['/C', 'mklink', '/D', '"%USERPROFILE%/jagexcache"', '"%USERPROFILE%/Desktop/NewCache"']);
    end;

    Procedure DeleteCacheSymLink();
    begin
    TPW.Execute('cmd.exe', ['/C', 'rmdir', '"%USERPROFILE%/jagexcache"']);
    end;

    begin
    CreateCacheSymLink();
    //DeleteCacheSymLink();
    end.
    To lets say something simple like an autoclicker script so its easier to understand for me.

    edit2: nvm, Cant get this working as much as I hate giving up. Will just be installing a VM and running the amount I'll need there.
