Alright. either im completely drunk, or this is the best tutorial video i have ever watched. (srs)

the only thing is... you load up smart, yet it doesnt load OGL... (or dx, but meh) and one of those display modes is required for rs3 afaik.

It was recorded on a VM, not sure how they handle the host machine's graphics card.

    Thanks though :P

there's affordable no retail vm solution that can virtualize hardware acceleration. opengl is not possible on something like vmware or openvz.

This is incorrect. OpenGL will work fine on most virtualization platforms.

Why would you want a VPS for one account?

OpenGL does work fine on Linux. So long as you have your Java paths set properly. If not, you're going to have a bad time!

Everything works on Linux natively & in VMWare: https://villavu.com/forum/showthread...38#post1302238

Just need to fix the way SMART loads plugins (maybe.. needs more testing).

And after that.... We need to bitch at jagex so you can enter ogl in browser (therefore in SMART )
a libTesseract.so.... Expect a 12 hr build time or whatever.
And making smart spawn succesfully 100% of the time in linux!

    hehe.

I see that new cup you have also.

It loads in the browser 100% of the time. The last time we got the errors was because of java paths. I thought I pm'd you the solution for that?

What do you mean smart doesn't load 100% of the time on Linux? I've got it down to 100% yeah. Sometimes the Frame is a bit tiny but that's nothing a quick patch can't fix.

Yeah I can build tesseract but would it even work on Linux? I thought it was a windows only library?

For any smart patches or fixes I can do them or propose fixes to Ben.. Gotta get on IRC.

Tesseract works on Linux, Windows (with VC++ Express or CygWin) and Mac OSX. See the ReadMe for more details and install instructions. It can also be compiled for other platforms, including Android and the iPhone, though these are not as well tested platforms. See also the AddOns page for other projects using Tesseract on various platforms.

I assume it's linux friendly then....!

    e:

When me and @Dgby714 were trying SMART the actual applet would only spawn like 25% of the time.

And the only PM i think you sent me was when you managed to get ogl loading in that applet you made? (puzzle pirates stuff).
