    Question RS3 and Bans

So this is what happened to me today:

I´ve been botting clay for maybe 2 weeks on and off on a few characters (my script has antiban and breaks). But this arose my attention

Character1 has been clay mining from 1 august to today. had around 15m and some clay on it, got banned TODAY.

Character2 got 6M and bought a bond, leveled slayer to 17, FM to 50 and magic to 60 (all done by hand). This account only botted during 1-15 august and got banned TODAY, (havent used ANY script on it for 15 days) just used it for developing some memb scripts.

So, this made me ask myself.

Does jagex delay a ban even for 15 days? (casually today was the day my bond finished on CHAR1)

Does logging in from the SAME jagexcache makes your accounts get banned? i ask this because, i logged in to CHAR2, got kicked (banned) and later on from the same client (so stupid of me), logged in to CHAR1 and got banned (after 15 days of NO botting).

Do brakes and antiban really affect ban rates? I mean, my script breaks 5 to 20 minutes every 40-80 minutes. and does 5 different antibans, one every 10-30 loads.

Once one of your accounts is flagged, I think that they look into other accounts attached to that IP address, or that log into under that address. If they are any bit similar in activity, even if it is 15 days ago, they will ban the whole bunch. If both bots were selling large quantity's of clay and had similar levels they might put two and two together. =/ sorry to hear about it. I was looking at mining a bunch of clay also....

It's possible the second account was already flagged. I'm fairly certain jagex uses jagexCache to catch bots but I'm also certain jagex won't ban an account unless they are 100% sure its been botted on.

Also, I think breaks only affect ban rates when they are used for runs that are greater then 12 hours. Playing for 10 hours straight with no breaks isn't that suspicious. But playing for 16-24 hours with no breaks is and might cause Jagex to flag or review or whatever it is they do. But then you consider the guy who used the Mayors VEB for 70 hours straight with no breaks.

As for antiban, I don't think it really affects it as much as people think. Jagex isn't going to ban someone unless they are 100% sure. Never checking your skills or friends list won't skew that 100% certainty they require at the end of the day.

Can we all please stop saying that Jagex flags IP's caches and HWID's? Please? I've pretty much proven beyond any reasonable doubt that this does NOT happen. If your account is botting, or has botted, then you can be banned, it's as simple as that.

OP, you say it hasn't botted in 15 days, then you say you used it for deving mem scripts. Deving is just as high of a ban chance as using completed scripts, perhaps even more so because of the script failures that are inevitable when using an incomplete script.

Just recently I had an account banned that never ran for more than 2mins at a time because the script was still being written, so this is almost certainly what got your Char2.

So lets all stop operating under the assumption that Jagex bans based on ANY identifying info, like cache, IP, or HWID. They CAN do that, the fact is they DON'T. Botwatch is good enough at this point that they don't need to connect accounts to ban them. If you bot, they can catch you. Period.

I do not believe they flag accounts and didnt say so. i just stated that it gave me the idea that because of having logged in to CHAR 1 , getting banned and on the same client, 5 secs later logging in to CHAR2 (who hadnt botted) could influence on getting banned. just that. besides, i was kinda angry when i made this post, cause i had manually legit leveled the char2 hhah.
