    Default Help with memory...

    Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered System Memory Model KVR400X64C3AK2/2G - Retail

I can buy that for $165 dollars from Newegg and it would max out my mother board...or i could check with my uncle and see how much 2GB of ram is at OEM cost and probably never get it. Is $165 a good deal for this?

If any amount of RAM maxes out your maximum amount on the motherboard. KABOOM! lol jk. the motherboard may fail and you'd need a whole new computer, or it just might not start up.

    nope not a good deal

actually, that might be the exact same ram i'm getting. First, check newegg for some 200$ ram on sale for like 150. you can get some really nice stuff for cheap on newegg. O, and make sure you buy on friday - sunday because they have "weekend sales" where you can get some good shit
