No kidding, it's even worse for me; I entered the contest. Now that I've submitted mine I feel nervous, just thinking about all the hours I put in it makes me unsettled. If I put in this much work, how much are others willing to put in? I don't know and won't know until the competition is over, I can only hope for a golden trophy.

Edit: fixed a letter, it was bugging me.

No, no, no, no, no, no... You REALLY don't have to. Just forget about it, there isn't all the much time and you obviously have had some experience before. There are some really talented people who entered so just don't worry about it.

I'm definitely not trying to have less competition, no sly maneuvers here

If you truly believe that you have put in the most amount of work and hours into your project, then you should not be thinking about the others.

I wouldn't say a trophy or prize defines your work ethic, but instead the actual hours and efforts you put into your project should define your work ethic.

Be proud of the time you committed.
Relax, Keep your head up, you still have some time remaining if you haven't submitted it already.

I've been working on mine for at least a couple of hours a day since I posted "I'm in", more lately now that my exams are over... I finished it a week ago, but submitting it early seems like a waste of tweaking time.

Well, I spent over 6 hours just simply running it. Probably about 8 hours running it total, about 98% of the time watching. I couldn't really make a good estimate on how long I worked on it because I got some help and worked on it at home and away from home.

If I had to guess then I would say about all the free time I had within the last 6 days, so I guess... probably well over 24 hours excluding the testing time too. I'm not the fastest worker, I can type fast but that is about it. I was/am really determined to win haha

Considering the time I put in, and I already added everything I wanted, there was no reason to hold onto it to tweak it some more. There was about 13 lines and any feature I wanted to add would take more than that. I also had thoroughly tested the bugs and then tested the necessary fixes/failsafes for multiple hours. It is as good as I could get it within the line limit, in my opinion.

Don't worry if good programming practices and standards are weighted I should get last place.

I'm just doing very stupid things to shrink my code down.

I would love to enter this competition. Please put me on the list, I will send you my script in a PM. Thanks much and good luck everyone.

P.S. Do we get to see everyone's scripts at the end? I bet there are going to be a few good ones to use.

Done, and yes, they will be if the scripter has no objections.

Yes, it is VERY nice. It will easily win. You can eat cabbages if you're hungry, or you can bank them and eat them when you get hungry later

Edit: And no I'm not a leecher. I created an account a while ago to see if this bot/language/api fit me, but it wasn't my cup of tea at first till i checked out how the other bots were more questionable.

If you have a script that meets the requirements and you can PM it to Mayor by 11:59pm on the 10th then yes, you can still enter.

Yes, although you can also make a single map image with multiple regions, and create multiple paths. Each path is just a TPointArray, so you can create as many as you want!

Yes, for an example of how to I'd suggest looking at Incurable's lodestone unlocker script (assuming it's registered members) because he had to make multiple maps and worked some magic to do it.

Scripts: Edgeville Chop & Bank, GE Merchanting Aid
Tutorials: How to Dominate the Grand Exchange

Can someone explain this? Since I can't access that forum.
