Default Coal Miner - by Agent007

Agent 007’s FIRST RuneScape 3 Script

    -----Coal Miner-----

    Intro:
This script will mine below Falador inside of the dungeon located next to the scorpions. It will deposit a full inventory through the deposit box located just inside the dungeon.

    Features:
    -Player Form.
-Fast at finding ore and deposit box.
    -Very accurate and efficient.
-Banks everything in the inventory VIA deposit box.

    Requirements:
    Dungeoneering Level – 15
Mining Level – 30 (for Coal)

This script is out of date. It is functional and you can use this to mine coal just fine.

Stay tuned for a finalized release of this script. Agent007 Coal Miner 3.0

Since this thread is "give me feedback on my first script" I will allow you to enter. I do suggest you make use of the SRL Player form since you've got space to burn, and fix those stray begin/ends in findDepositBox();.

I don't really know what you mean about your minimap problems, is it because you're using Open GL and the minimap is black? If you use Direct X mode this is fixed. If you have some other problem with the minimap I'd be willing to help figure it out haha

Will do. I did not find a clear indication, but do I just post a response or how do I make that official post to be in it? I am currently surfing the posts to see.

That fixed the problem. WOW, thanks! That frustrated me a lot lol. Well I can add that into the instructions and it would also mean that at this moment there are no known bugs or issues with this script.

Since The Mayor already said you can be in, I'd say better fix up the script a bit and PM it to him. You can just make a post on the competition thread saying you want in. Good luck, it looks pretty sweet!

Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I am working on the form now. This is pretty sweet stuff. Working progress and I almost have it fully working with a form. I will be sure to post a response AND private message The Mayor.

Script is updated with a form. It works out perfect as ever for me. Let me know if anyone finds and issues or bugs I can fix. I cleaned it all up and it looks good and works even better.

Thanks again for the feedback on this script.

*** I updated the original post, has the updated script and I also updated the content of the post as well.

Congratulations for releasing your first script!

    .

I'm glad that I inspired you to create your first script, I hope to see many more to come.

I'd test your script for you, but I don't have 15 Dungeoneering and Daemonheim is a mysterious place of crappy RS3 combat and controls so that's never going to happen. Regardless I don't actually have any real feedback to give you because, honestly, this is really good for a first script! I do have something unrelated to your script though, you can use:

    Simba Code:
    [mention]Name[/mention]

... to tag someone in a post, assuming that you want to notify them that you're giving them a shoutout or whatever.

Other than that, well done, and congratulations again for releasing your first script!

How do I make a "proper" reply that quotes two different people? Like when I click reply with quote I can do that 1 quote and it shows the persons name, how do I do this with multiple quotes?
There is a button next to quote called multi-quote
