    You have to somehow get it to OpenGL/DirectX graphics mode. I think the only reason that it should be defaulting to Safe Mode is either when your computer can't actually handle (or doesn't believe it can handle) running RS or it doesn't have the right plugins for those modes. I think there were new d3d9.dll and opengl32.dll plugins posted somewhere on this forum by Brandon (not sure if they are already part of the current release), you should replace your current versions with those (can't hurt to try).

    Youre trying to load RS3, right?
    If so, it shouldnt matter if java is on your path or not really.

    Heres mine.
    Code:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common;
    %SystemRoot%\system32;
    %SystemRoot%;
    %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;
    %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;
    C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static;
    C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin
    (spaced it for easy reading)

    And all i have is Java 7_71 (32 and 63 bit).

    So i would try uninstalling Java 6_whatever as well as 8_whatever. (and any JDK too)
    from there, uninstall all the JREs/Javas you have installed.

    Then... RESTART.
    And reinstall Java 7_whatever (32bit)

    Also with your path, check your system and your user portions. id assume the system takes precedent over user.
    (user is the top half, system is the bottom half)

    but J_R, it works fine on the normal client downloaded from the runescape site. It's just with the simba client it keeps saying "this is the first time you've played, we need to run auto-setup" and then it's back in safe mode

    No, RS3 loads fine, it's just that the simba client doesn't recognize it because it keeps getting put in "safe mode" which I can't switch out of (issue ONLY happening in the simba client, the client from the runescape website works fine)

    That is jre7, the filename means jre7 update 72 which is the current one

    but on my other computer, i have one that says just jre7 and it works fine, but i got 7.72 on here and simba will load up the bot, login fully, and just sit there.

    I can't access opengl mode even though my computer has it and directx works, but the scripts that support it don't do anything.

    My gripe is if it's in directx mode, with the proper botting set up for interface, why doesn't it click anything once it's logged in?

    Have you tried to force update Plugins and SRL from simba's menu?

    Also this is the thread I was referring to: https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107256

    The only time this has happened to me was when I thought I had all the right settings; however, I actually derped and had transparency at 100% instead of 0%.
    I think I also had issues before when having just DirectX loaded instead of both openGL and DirectX, so maybe you should just keep them both and just switch RS to either one in RS's settings.

    Yep :\ I have no idea what's wrong. It seems like everything should work but then simba just doesn't like remember the settings and the client won't take opengl or directx
