    Default need help keeping pc good!

    i just went out and spent just under £900 on a new pc... it may not seem much to some people but its alot to me, at the moment the pc is very fast and everything is working great!

    what i am asking is how do i go about keeping it this fast? how do i keep this pc as good as when u first buy it?

    Keep all your anti spyware programs up to date and scan weekly.

    Do the same for anti virus.

    Make a partition to install windows on, make it small (about 8-20gb) and save all other files to a different partition. It will allow windows to run faster because then it doesn't have to go through the other files to run windows.

    Never have programs start on boot.

    Try to keep the clutter on desktop down.

    Periodically clean out programs and files.

    And this may not keep your PC Fast but it is always a rule of thumb.
    Backup ALL FILES.
