Default SRL Player Form Causes Crashes

Hey, a couple scripts I have been wanting to try use the SRL Player Form, which causes a crash whenever I try to use it. So far I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled Simba and uninstalled and reinstalled Java. Both result in no change. Is there any workaround or known fixes?
Edit: The crash occurs right after compiling the script, I never see the form itself.

When you run first script. then every else when you load form press load army it refreshes and prevents from crashes.

I'm not sure I completely understand what you're asking me to do.

Ah, I wish I could try that but it crashes before the player form opens.

Does it give a specific error in the crash or does it just completely close Simba when it happens?

There is no error in the crash - in fact the debug box clears completely right before it crashes, then the "Simba has stopped working, windows is looking for a problem" dialog pops up.

Edit: I've now tried deleting manually the srl player form from srl-6/lib/misc and forcing it to update, still no cigar.

Well, this is an odd development. After more experimentation, I've come to find that by using a very specific technique it is possible to get the SRL player form.
RAFIKI PLAYER MANAGER seems to be the cause of the crashing, not the player form itself. Here's why I think this:
If I have no army named default, the SRL player form opens up fine. If I have an army named default, it will crash without opening.
If I have an army named something other than default, when I attempt to load the army it proceeds to crash.
I think I might need to do some snooping to find where Simba saves army files and maybe I could give those a look. Anyone know where they are?
