Default Runescape not working on VPS

    Hello,

I've recently purchased a Windows VPS.

The VPS has the following specifications:
    Windows 2012 R2
    8GB Ram
    2 vCPUs 2.60 GHz Intel™ Xeon
    4 GBPS Internet Network Speed
    150GB Storage

I managed to setup Simba, and it spawned the Runescape client, but both login box and password box didn't appear.

    Any ideas?
    I have the latest java.

Attempt to load RS through a browser. Post results.

Additionally, make sure you're able to switch between OpenGL and Direct-X (or at the very least, access one of them). A lot of virtual servers don't come with hardware acceleration.

It isn't giving me the option to play thru a browser. (I have tried Google Chrome and Internet Explorer).

It also isn't letting me install the official RuneScape application, something about my VPS owner policy(?)

While loading it, hold the 's' button on your keyboard. It will run runescape in safe mode, from there enable opengl in settings.

If it's running any version of Windows Server, then yes, security policies will be in effect. You'll need to bypass or disable them to install software, run programs, or possible even activate browser plugins.

How would I go about that?
I think the VPS is one of the ones google are giving out.

Chrome doesn't support Java applications anymore, try Firefox.

I recently deleted my cache on a VM and the same thing occurred. Try going to the graphic settings if the login box doesn't appear - Select a mode and then restart client. That's what fixed my problem.
