    Default [OGL] ClutchMills

    Clutch Mills
    Credits to Clarity - a large amount of the code came from Clarity Wells

    Status: Clutch Mills Version 1.3 - Currently Stable 8/12/2015

    Status: Clutch Proteans Version 1.4 - Currently Stable 8/12/2015

    *Will be updating this thread as soon as possible with instructions for the new script which will create mahogany tables.

    Features:
    • Creates all Planks using Portable Mills'
    • Compatible to use other Portable Mills'
    • Smart Termination when out of supplies
    • Informative Paint
    • OGL
    • Multiple Banks Supported *If there is a location you would like please PM or reply to the thread with that location

    Requirements:
    You need a functional setup with the current software (Simba 1.x, SMART 8.X, OGL)
    View this thread for more info on setting up OGL https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112486
    Installing:

    - Locate the script at the bottom of this post "ClutchMills.simba"
    - Download and place this in your X:/Simba/Scripts directory
    - Run the Script to download the paint and latest version of the script
    - Read the debug located at the bottom

    Instructions (Clutch Mills):
    A few notes to consider -
    This script WILL terminate if you run out of Logs OR Portable Sawmills
    This script WILL give you a rough estimate on the amount of money you are MAKING/SAVING.
    This script CAN be ran anywhere a Portable location can be placed WITHOUT having to move away from the bank

    Let the instructions begin..

    To begin you need to setup the Script Settings like shown in the picture
    READ THE COMMENTS THEY WILL EXPLAIN IN DETAIL WHAT EVERYTHING IS FOR

    Now look back up at that picture and ensure you made the appropriate changes to all settings that have the Red Box around them.

    Ensure that you set Bank QuickSlot 1 with logs as shown here;

    Ensure that you set Bank QuickSlot 2 with portable sawmill as shown here;

    Now begin the script as your specified bank and you are good to go!

    Instructions (Clutch Proteans):
    A few notes to consider -
    This script MAY get stuck please babysit it - at the very least babysit the first 2-3 rounds. There is an issue with it getting stuck on the interface screen (where you can logout?) - it doesn't happen often but it does happen.
    This script WILL ONLY terminate itself when out of Proteans - make sure the number of proteans is DIVISIBLE by 6. EX.

    This is DIVISIBLE by 6.

    Let's begin...

    Enter your player owned house and STAND next to your workbench. If it is not visible you need to make it visible.

    Verify you filled out the settings correctly?

    Seriously, just choose your key bind that mahogany tables are on..

    Now the IMPORTANT PART!
    You can either setup the mousebox on your own or you can use it how I have it setup - Sorry there are no texture ID's on this page. Why? I have no $@#!'in clue!
    Just make sure your dialogue is setup like so;

    If this misclicks simply move your dialogue so that it clicks within the red box (that's not filled that would be my char).
    I apologize but until I find another way, this is the only option. If you need assistance with this part please notify me and I will assist.

    That's all there is too it, just make sure you check in on it and REPORT ANY BUGS! I test the shit out of all my scripts but seriously, there's gotta be some issues.

    Version:
    Version 1.0 - Official Release
    Version 1.1 - Updated Banks
    Version 1.2 - Implemented Protean Tables Script, Updated Paint, Minor modifications to failsafes
    Version 1.3 - Updated Clutch Mills, Clutch Proteans, Paint for both, Improved Progress Reports, Failsafes & updated thread layout and included instructions

    You can get the script's here:

    Still one green square?...

    DW, I'll be down there with you shortly. Bahaha.

    On a more serious note, you're just charging through these. It's very good to see!

    Hehe, I've heard. I can't take hardly any credit for this a lot of it came from @Clarity; and @Lucidity; helped a ton last night with getting the paint to work. Have learned a lot from it though!

    Will be pushing out an update tomorrow so that you can create mahogany tables with this as well.

    Thanks, just keep in mind though 90% of the code is Clarity's I just butchered Clarity Wells to make it work with Mills. ALTHOUGH...I'm gonna be modifying it and adding a script that will make mahogany tables which was written by me (albeit it's extremely short and sweet but does the job!)

    Updates been pushed out - Note your script will likely break as I added in a new setting at the top. "LOOP" you will need to alter this as it will determine which loop it runs. There is one for Clutch Mills and another to run Protean Tables (new script just wrote will create Mahogany tables).
    I will be updating the thread with detailed instructions as soon as possible.

    Updated the following;
    Thread Layout (still working on cleaning it up and adding instructions)
    Clutch Mills
    -All new paint
    -Reworked Script - now has more fail-safes
    -Added in Potential Profit Per Hour - This is theoretical - but ultimately this is the amount of money your earning in planks by doing this (or saving). While it still costs to use this method if you use Teaks/Mahogany's you are still effectively making 100's of Million GP (or saving).

    Will be adding Clutch Proteans (creates Mahogany Tables in your Player owned house) once I update the paint!

    Thanks could still use some practice though haha. Should have some Screenshots tonight.

    Will be getting Screenshot once I hit 99 tonight.
    For those who care I corrected the script from getting stuck. I unfortunately am to lazy to update so here you go.

    Insert the following between lines 31 & 32
    Simba Code:
    while ogl.getTextures(163023) do
          begin
            typeByte(VK_ESCAPE);
          end;

    Proggy's are now up!

    I'm getting an error trying to start the installer. It's on line two and I'm sure I'm missing some of the ogl plugs. Could someone maybe send me a pic of your plugs and includes so I can see what I'm missing. Very excited about the script!

    P.s. I did what the the ogl thread told me to do multiple times and still didn't get it fixed. Any help is appreciated.

    If you could post the debug that would help alot. If I had to guess though you need to go back through the oglthread setup - and make sure you REPLACE the .dlls that they specify even if you already have them as they are different.

    Thats all I get when i try to run it. I will try replacing some stuff and hope for the best.

    Edit: Fixed this issue now I'm getting this.

    Error: Duplicate declaration "tCountDown" at line 536
    Compiling failed

    Thanks for that!! fixed that issue.

    Now I get this

    Error: Found unexpected token "const", expected "Identifier" at line 7
    Compiling failed.

    I tried replacing const with Identifier and then it said.

    Error: Found unexpected token "scriptVersion", expected "cmp_Equal" at line 8
    Compiling failed.

    Sorry that I keep bringing up these little issues. I'm trying to find the answers on my own as well but not finding anything.

    I appreciate your help greatly.

    Testing my damn debugging skills are we? J/k

    Did it create that directory? If not try and manually create it. Also try rebooting and then running.
    PM me and I can TV.

    I used the mills until i got 25k+ proteans. Worked like a charm the whole time, would usually run around 8 hours at a time.

    Now im having an issue getting the proteans script up and running.
