it's a new slayer monster perhaps?
i didn't know they could actually sue you for RWT
this is an obvious key-loggger / related site, anyone who fell for this deserves it if they're selling gold and can't tell a scam this obvious :|
Basically just some sligthly shady rwt company that gathers emails and then tries to profit even more.
The site probably just asks you to login, if you write in some info it will tell you wrong pass and have you retry. They gather all the logins and filters the ones that tried logging in with same credentials two times. Its fun to just type in random info in there.
Dont fall for this, a buddy of mine did. Though it does look convincing.
I don't know why jagex doesn't utilize the in-game inbox.
Other than the fact that these emails don't contain your in-game name, it's hard to tell if the email is real or not
Lol that one's pretty good but I've seen worse.. There's a bank here in Canada called RBC (Royal Bank).. and my buddy got emailed this thing telling him something was wrong with his account. Now being a programmer, I checked the source and everything. I checked the URL.. it was perfect! It was the actual RBC link in the URL bar but not https (which I didn't even notice at the time until a while later). He was in a Starbucks (biggest mistake ever).
How did we know it was fake? The little green security header/certificate that websites have next to the URL bar was missing. What was happening was someone with a laptop nearby was actually doing a middle man attack and replacing the actual content with a fake, but exact mockup of the RBC page. So when he visited it, the URL was the same, everything was the same but the content was not legit.
I'd never seen anything like that before..
I am Ggzz..
