    Exclamation virus help

    one night while i waas scanning some files on virusscan.jotti.org it found this:
    W32/Kcuf.A!tr

    does anyone know what that is and what it does?

    i googled it but i get nothin

    rep for all who help

    k heres the program its hax for maplestory that dont work...

    W32 is a worm and it exploits the DCOM RPC vulnerability.
    This worm attempts to download the msblast.exe file to the %WinDir%\system32 directory and then execute it. W32.Blaster.Worm does not have a mass-mailing functionality.

    I can clean that file if you want, and then upload it here.

    It is adware/malware.

    it's not a keylogger right?

    yo dont have to clean it cuz it doesnt even work...

    what if i alreadied executed the file with the worm in it?

    by the way my stae of the art anti virus didnt even pick this up.....

    I don't have that. I never update the service pack. Also I never any virus or spyware because I have a really good antivirus program that cost $80.

    it doesnt matter how much it cost ($80 is actually pretty cheap) you still need to update. new viruses come out every day. the updates also fix bugs

    Which program do you use? My antivirus subscription just ended and Im in dire need of a good antivirus/spyware prog.

    Win AntiVirus Pro 2006.. under $60 bucks.. i keep thinking $29.99 for it.. not sure tho.. but its a one-time fee and it auto-updates everything, gets rid of spyware.. and works damn good... got rid of 3.3 thousand viruses off my computer 87 thousand spyware files
    Busy with real life. I'll still be around occasionally.
